Mövenpick Resort & Marine Spa Sousse

The hotel setting is great the building is impressive. However we found the main restaurant to be a little lacking. We had to try to find a spare table most times and then set about getting our own cutlery and condiments. There were some very helpful staff but few and far between. The beach however was totally different and the two main guys here worked all day to serve people. Drinks, cocktails, fruit and lunch’s were always available. Too guys and I have attached their photographs as a thank you.

COACH NOUR GYM. Nour stands out as the best coach you have.When I asked for help with lunges she went out of her way to suggest and model exercises suited to my needs, making my daily practice far more effective. (On other days when she was not there, the “coach” simply sat buried behind the desk with their head down looking at their cellphone, providing no help at all.) Nour should train the other coaches on how to help clients at the gym. Bravo, Nour! FOOD. Food quality has gone down. Grilled fish isgood. But vegetables are overcooked. Scrambled eggs are always cold. Gym PHOTO. Your photo shows the nice big gym that was destroyed five years ago, update your photo please. OSSAMA, WAITER. OSSAMA was proactive and saw tour every need. A superior caliber waiter. ROOM, VIEW, GROuND. The building, view and room were excellent.

Faten our housekeeper did a great job in keeping our room clean our towels replaced with fresh ones daily. Always a smile on her face and asking if there is anything else she can do in making us happy with our room.

Unfortunately one of the worst hotel experience ever. It's our third night here and we are already looking to leave. Hotel in general looks pretty, nice architecture. The lobby looks awesome. Also the pool area next to the sandy beach with crystal clear water is beautiful. But everything is worn-out and outdated. We came here to relax and spend some quality time. Instead of that our stress level keeps rising. If you are placed to the left wing of the hotel then be prepared for sleepless nights since there is outdoor nightclub next to it. The noise is unbearable! Haven't managed to fall asleep non of the nights yet, need to wait until they close the venue next to our windows, probably around 4am. If you book a double kingsize room then expect to have two twin beds pushed together what keeps separate all the time. Yes, it's not Europe, but the hotel is dirty. Seems like the glasses in our room have never been washed properly. Dirty rims and stains. When I mentioned that to front desk they promised to fix it. I placed all the dirty items on a table, but they have just placed them back in same condition. When I asked about the bed they told us they will let someone to remake it as a kingsize bed. Probably add another mattress on those twin beds, but still nothing. When we arrived we had two big towels, but next morning after they "clean" the room we got only one. When I asked about that today, the cleaning lady said she knows about it and gonna bring the another one later, still nothing. Even they say it's two sittings in the restaurant, go to eat straight away when they open the buffet since the quality drops fast, they won't refill much. In general the food is cold, overcooked and plain. The restaurant area is dirty. It's difficult to find empty clean table. You spend more time for waiting silverware and drinks than eating. Customer is not the king here, the stuff minds their own business instead of taking care of you. Looks like there are lot of people in the hotel who aren't guest. More like local people, friends to the workers who comes here just to hang around. Waitress keeps holding and reservating seats to them. Same happens also in the pool are when you try to find empty pool chair. Noticed several times how the hotel workers keeps putting their belongings on the tables/chairs and later they remove them. Maybe it's a way to earn extra money, so they can offer so called premium seats if you tip them well. Be prepared for not getting all the items from the menu, mostly from the pool area menu, specially when you have so called all inclusive package. They have two separate menus, they focus more on the regular menu. Cash is king like it is the saying. Items suddenly runs out or aren't available anymore if you are wearing all inclusive wristband. I really don't understand how Mövenpick chain can have that hotel in their list. Really bad reputation for them. Luckily the weather is nice and warm.

We have ordered a drink, Aperol Sprit, and we have received something completely different. When we argued about the drink, the barman told us that it was correct, but he didn't use Prosecco, nor sparkling water, and he put a syrup. It was terrible, and too expensive

I had a great time in Sousse with my family. I'm not satisfied at all with all the things in hotel, the food is very bland and very narrow choice (chicken with mash potato) every day, not a good choice for someone who don't eat fish. The beach is very, very dirty and we almost couldn't swim. Sunbeds are a disaster, they should be renovated urgently, ASAP! However, the service inside the restaurant is really good, a young man called Oussema was really, really friendly and his service as a waiter was extremely helpful and only because of him, I'm giving this hotel a 3 stars. He really deserves it!

The hotel got a great infrastructure , we arrived quite early to the hotel, 10:45, room was empty should only be cleaned…. At 11:30 after a bit of got our access bands, after som nagging, (all incl. ) room was still not ready… Could at least go to the bar and have some wine… Made some sightseeing in the hotel, then checked reception again at 12:05, room still not ready Back to the bar for a beer and a cocktail… The Lunchbuffé opened at 12:30, a lot of choices, much of the food that should have been warm was cold… this was unfortunately repeated during our whole stay (26.9-3.10), beef, chicken and fish was overly fried (dry/hard). At 13:40 we had finsihed lunch, back to the reception, system crashed!!! Back to the bar, had some beer and cocktails, 20 min. later system still down At 15 o‘clock finally our room was ready…. Normally expect for a all inclusive hotel not to need to give tips the whole time… Generally hotel nice, staff ok as long as you tip them, food leaves something to wish fore, would rate the hotel at 4 star, in total 3 1/2 star to the whole hotel, the restaurant drags it down, definitively not a 5 star rating

This review is more for the manager, if he reads them. A month before my vacation, I broke my leg and had to experience firsthand the accessibility features of this hotel. Despite the stroller sign, the hotel is absolutely unsuitable for people with limited mobility (or small children, for that matter). 1. There are no ramps for strollers (there are two at the main entrance, along the edges of a huge, slippery porch).2. The exit from the restaurant to the indoor pool and beach is through a labyrinth of corridors with massive doors that can't be opened by one person. And yes, there should be a ramp there too! 3. There's a crowd of smokers everywhere near the elevator (why are there ashtrays there?) so it's impossible to get through, even in a wheelchair! 4. It's 150 meters from the pool area to the beach—halfway along a slanted, crooked strip of bars that you have to drag (!) a wheelchair along. A wheelchair simply won't move on such a crooked surface. The next 70 meters is only accessible on crutches, across hot sand!5. You can't even walk to the pool, let alone use crutches. The lounge chairs are very close to the water, tightly encircling the pool, with their feet practically in the filter grate. The exit from the pool, a staircase (the only one!), is blocked by lounge chairs. 6. There are NO restrooms for people with limited mobility in the beach area! There are two regular ones – one with 9 steps, the other with 2 (in the spa area) with slippery floors and a wobbly toilet.7. Every evening, around 10:00 PM, the staff constantly come, knock on the door, and ask if everything is okay. They woke me up every time. Why? It felt like they were checking the house or not. The manager needs to rent a wheelchair for people with limited mobility (which is what I did) and take me around the hotel. You'll understand how many surprises await you there. The sea, the sun—everything is great. The food is good, the staff is helpful.

A hospital team, the room, and the staff were perfectly reported to the hotel's reputation. Many thanks to Simda and Siham who elegantly provide us with all the things.

1162, was nice stay, loved the flowers in the room. Also food was tasty, better than in similar ones, loved desserts 🥰 Wafa was very friendly and helpful 🙂 😁
