The Reef Retreat

Great place to unwind after a long day drive and seeing sales appointments. Staff were amazing, room was super relaxing and everything I needed was in walking distance. Highly Recommend staying here for a break away and or your next business trip!

Excellent position just off the beach, and lots of great restaurants nearby. Very quiet and relaxing, the pool is surrounded by large original trees, it’s like swimming in the rain forest.

Best place ever will be back again

This a great place to stay for a longer visit to the area. Room was very spacious and well appointed. There is a binder in the unit that details everything you need to know about the property (laundry) and surrounding area. Having access to laundry on the property was fantastic and the machines did a great job ($9 AUD). The Beach is just around the corner from the property - amazing paths with access to shops, restaurants -- ideal vacation spot - so laid back. Palm Cove is a gem - less than an hour to Port Douglas and the drive is so beautiful, yet very windy roads. Highly recommend Palm Cove area.

The Reef Retreat was perfect for the few nights we were is Cairns. The pool and A/C made the heat a little more bearable and Jim was always available to assist with cabs/transport bookings and offer advice. 50m from the beach and the esplanade, which leads in both directions to a variety of excellent shops, bars and eateries.

Excellent self-contained accommodation, studio unit ideal for the solo traveller, Nice relaxing pool area, Cheerful helpful staff, Great central location - can walk to all restaurants and activies Recommend!

Our family had the most amazing and fun filled week in a 3 bedroom townhouse. It had everything we needed, including the addition of a cot for the baby. The unit was clean, comfortable and the location perfect - close to restaurants, Pete’s Place (general store) and the waterfront. We were able to get a Woolies home delivery on the day of arrival so the apartment was stocked with the necessities to get us started. Thanks!

Well maintained & spotlessly clean self-contained accommodation located within easy walking distance to all Palm Cove amenities. This is the third time we have stayed at the RR, this time in a ground floor studio. Pool set among malaleuca trees also outdoor spa available. Friendly & helpful staff. Recommend if you're looking for good priced self-contained accommodation in the heart of Palm Cove (one block back from Esplanade). We enjoyed our stay - thank you
