The Reef Retreat

I am a cleaner by trade so am probably a bit synical but was surprised to find mould on the windows and windowsill. I cleaned it as it got the better of me.

Rooms are cosy with a good size kitchenette,which over looks the outdoor area.spa bath in bathroom with great shower. Beds are comfortable with nice pillows. The pool is nice but not much sun gets through all the trees around the pool and spa,both heated. Theres a bbq area to use with nice outdoor setting to sit. Location is great,near the beach and dining options. Great value resort 👏

This place is well maintained, lovely surroundings around the pool and spa, all day. Clean and perfectly positioned, close to everything but as well tacked away. Lovely place to stay

Proprietors and other staff were very helpful. The location is great. The room and kitchenette were comfy. The one thing that was unpleasant was the bathroom had sliding doors with slats, which did not provide any sound barrier between the bathroom and bedroom.

We stayed here for 5 nights & it was our first time in Palm Cove. We loved everything about our stay! Before our stay the hotel booked our transfers with ease. The rooms are huge and had everything we needed. The outside kitchenette was really appreciated as eating out in Palm Cove, we found, was really expensive so we cooked most days. The heated outdoor spa was so nice to enjoy after being out all day. The bed was also so comfortable and the hotel is only steps away from the beach & cafes. We will always stay here from now on. Excellent value for money, provided everything we needed with great service & location.

Great place - I would definitely stay here again, right in the heart of Palm Cove. Only downside was heater in pool was not working the second week of my stay, though I know they were trying to get it fixed - I'm sure it's good by now. Beautiful grounds, loved the balconey, the "library", laundry. Even provided a rack for drying clothes and an umbrella in my unit. Great place!

The room was ok but the bathroom shower has a window straight in from of it and ather off putting that people can ee in through louvre blinds. Power point didnt work on one side and neighbours very noisy. Excellent location and kitchen facilities.

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary weekend away! The grounds are beautiful with all of the trees providing privacy and a quiet oasis. We loved the heated pools and were surprised with a room upgrade, complimentary breakfast platter and bottle of wine with our stay. The outdoor kitchenette was a welcomed addition for those meals that we didn’t decide to take the short walk to the esplanade. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we will be back and would highly recommend the spa rooms.
