Holiday Inn Alpensia Pyeongchang Suites by IHG

After a long day of skiing, we returned to the hotel and found a mysterious strand of a short and permed hair or what I can assume as a pubic hair stuck to the blanket. To spice things up further, we managed to find no less than 3 separate stains on the same blanket and we really didn’t want to guess the nature of these marks. Our 12 year old boy inquisitively asked “Did someone have sex here?”. We tried get our well-deserved rest, trying hard to not imagine who and what happened before our check-in. May our soul rest in peace.

10년전쯤 가족여행하였을 때에는 시설이 좋았다는 느낌이었는데 이번에 다시 숙박하였을 때는 여러 가지 문제점이 있었습니다. 전반적으로 시설이 낙후하였습니다. 화장실 문고리가 떨어져 나갔고 샤워기 헤드가 고정이 되지 않아 사워중에 큰 혼란이 있었습니다. 화장실 청소도 아주 부실했습니다. 드라이기는 찬 바람만 나왔습니다. 그리고 옷장문은 시트지가 떨어져서 열 때마다 소리가 났습니다. 침구도 문제인게 너무 요가 너무 작고 얇아서 개선이 필요해 보입니다. 전반적으로 리노베이션이 되어야 할 것 같습니다.

깨끗하고 좋았지만 너무 한적해서 별로였습니다.

일단 침대잇는방으로 알고갓는데 랜덤방이라서 온돌로 준다해서 당황 ㅠ 분명 못봣는데 방은 램덤배정이 침대인지 온돌인지 명확하게 확인하세요 시설은 좀 노후하고 좋은전망 받기는 어려워요 좋은전망 적음 시설은 좀 노후화 햣으니 감안하시길

하드웨어는 나쁘지 않으나 소프트웨어는 전반적으로 개선이 되어야 할 듯... 조식 쿠폰 직원 응대도 그렇고, 조식이 싼 편도 아닌데...급식처럼 아침부터 줄 서서 먹어야 할 정도...

me and my family had a very very bad experience, we booked two queen beds but only given one queen bed for 3 adults and 2 children. 3 other family members had to sleep on the floor with an inch thick matress.We asked them to change to another room with 2 queen beds as booked, we were told that they never have room with two queenbeds.We have to drag 4 big luggage and 4 small luggage by ourselves in the slippery snow ground with two young travellers. My daughter and her two young children age 4 & 7 was falling ill due to sleeping on an uncomfortable thin matress in a (-7degrees Celsius) temperature, suffering from sleepness night. no one come in to clean the rubbish., we have to clear the rubbish bin upon check out if not we have pay a heavy fine. upon checking out i was talking to the manager (Mr Kwan Yong Sam ) about the situation of our stay and our experience, he shows no mercy and refused to listen and said that Hotels.com booked for us a deluxe room with only one bed for 3 adutls only., i showed him the printed confirmation of 2 queen beds he said it means to bed rooms not 2 queen beds, he refused to understand and not interested to read or understand. He kept twisting his words to protect himselves. His was very rude and he spoke loudly and he was shouting at me. I have been in the travel industry for 25 years and this is the 1st time i lost my cool and he crated a scene and cause embarasement. Mr Kwan told me that this is Hotles.com mistake. Can some one explain.

Idéal location for skiing ,but old resort with limited f&b option. Also, bring your own bath towel, only hand towel provided

The suites are not the same Holiday Inn that is advertised on Hotels.com. The Holiday Inn hotel is a separate entity The photos are of the hotel. The suites have a different check in. They are very basic. Our suite was large but paint and wallpaper was peeling with stains and a burn in the couch. Other than that the room was clean with The water park/pool is near the ski area but not part of the hotel, it is not included in the price. There are many good restaurants in the Alpensia village. The closest supermarket is in Pyeongchang.
