Holiday Inn Alpensia Pyeongchang Suites by IHG

Location is great and the suites are large and well equipped, but the buildings feel more like dormitories than hotels. Hallways are also very noisy (no carpeting). During the off-season the Alpensia Village feels abandoned but I imagine it's fun during the ski season.

It’s a good place for friends gathering, especially we have 2 families staying together in one suite, so the kids can play together day and night; and the parents can have some relaxing time to chat. Services are acceptable, we appreciated the concierge boys to help us to take the suitcases to our suite building, it was so helpful as it takes a bit of walk from the reception to the building. Staff there are very helpful too as when we asked for recommendations of restaurants around the area, they give us some very good advices and helped us to call for taxi. It’s easy to access to the resort as there are shuttle buses to/from airport and city. And you will get all you need in the resort, yet there are not many choices of restaurants and you definitely will have better quality food outside. The water park and cinema in the resort are bonus to keep you busy. The only thing we think it may need improvement is that the cleanliness of the bedding in out suite. Although we are not expecting 5-star quality, the bedding in our suite is a bit old and stained. Also the futon is not comfy at all, it’s so hard that it seems like you are sleeping on the floor. Also the pillows are very small like baby pillows. Overall, except for the bedding, we still think it’s a good choice for us to spend our ski holiday.

restaurants are great on site and super convenient for accessing ski slopes (practically on site). No doubt that family with young kids should stay here for convenience. Would definitely stay again.

The reception area can be hard to find. Clean, sizable place with a kitchen. It doesn't have oil, salt, pepper, but there are plenty of convenience stores. Nothing stands out, but good solid and newish place with ski fields right next to it.

Location is great and facilities are quite nice. However, staff needs more training for customer service in international ways. Room is great but cleanses wasn't great also some cabinets are broken. Overall experience is great but still need to improve a lot.

Nice hotel with large room. Very convenient because it it next to ski slope.There are lots of restaurants around the hotel.

Overall is good, but don’t know why no self service laundry as a resort.

It is a good place for family with young children.. Snow Sledding for kids is 2 sessions of unlimited sledding.

Near ski house. Very convenient and can buy things to cook if have time. No lack of restaurants and convenience stall around the area. One thing they need to provide is warm slippers for winter.

Beautiful view, direct access to ski slope, not crowded hence safer for kids taking ski lessons, multiple food options
