Aruba Surf Resort

Location Location Location. Everything we wanted was at our fingertips. Cafes, restaurants, shopping, beaches . We could walk everywhere or drive if we needed. The free parking underneath very handy. The public transport to anywhere on the Gold Coast was right across the road. So was pacific fair. The room you can cook eat and relax and kick back. Spacious rooms and balcony, was very laid back, would definitely book again and recommend

Nothing to like when your basic needs are supposed to be part of the deal. It felt like rip-off merchant just scammed you! Booking got the rates of our stay discounted this I liked since I’m a long time user of their platform. It seemed Aruba was taking that as their goodwill, aren’t they supposed to acknowledges Booking for good consumers, thus giving good services instead?

There’s an ongoing council works since a bldg under construction across the main gate. One day, all water supplies cut off, reception never informed me, but one resident just said it, water interruption 10am-2pm. When an email arrived, asking me how’s my stay, I rang reception shrugged that they were too not informed 😱. It now sound like blameless??? Starting then, I have to buy 5liter water, in every 2 days. The reception don’t take any responsibility on these basic amenities. Even the wifi wasn’t provided upon insisting she did with a different unit wifi. (See convo pic) No elevator to 3rd floor. Apparently $3000 security bond required, which turn into $300 in an email from them upon check in. I refused, is that why there’s tenant insurance? Upon request of toilet roll within 2 days, 2 rolls (only) was provided, we got wipes that helps. Only tube each shampoo, conditioner and body was there for a week use. The original booking is open planned but “upgraded” apparently, too tired to think! Later, I thought it could have been the best location on the ground floor. I wasn’t properly informed with details. Only front gate is digital, the rest of the doors are manually using hard copy of keys “2026”😱 Also there’s cockroaches that I haven’t taken pic, because it hid so quick. Your goods should be put inside the fridge when not eating, just to be safe.

Office Manager was very friendly and accommodating.
