Aruba Sands Resort

The location was fantastic- so close to shops and the beach.

The room was not serviced for the entirety of the stay, and we were only given a single tube of shampoo. While we could have gone down to reception to ask for more, I believe that it should have been anticipated. The bed was also hard as a rock and the shower struggled to drain and we often had to stop our shower, lest it overflow. The room would also not be suitable for older guests, as the stairs are very inconvenient and were exhausting. We did not have a table either, only two chairs against the wall.

I loved the location. It was clean and comfortable with what you would expect in a holiday apartment

The rooms are very dated with things like taps, vanities etc all showing signs of water damage and age related wear. The cleanliness was not up to standard at all with windows to the exterior deck absolutely filthy. This hotel is in a great location. We stayed there on our honeymoon 21 years ago and i dont think the decor has changed since then.

It was close to everything as we had no car.

The stairwells were quite dirty, the stove top was rusted and the carpet was loose and we kept tripping on it.

Staff were lovely, room was comfortable and had everything you needed. Location was excellent!
