"Disappointing."

It was out dated, run down. The room was not ready and several people were waiting in the lobby for their rooms to be ready and it was not at capacity. The photos and ratings do not match the listing. AND breakfast was NOT included, but it was listed as having free breakfast. The listing and hotel did not match- it was disappointing.

See above! The condition of the hotel and breakfast was not included.

Close to the highway

Paying for a lackluster breakfast. Room had a musty dank smell from the carpets. Bathroom was chipped and dirty and black stringy hairs in the bathroom and on our bedding

Breakfast was poor quality. Too costly for its value.

Hotel was dirty as well as its outdoor surroundings. The management did not provide for room servicing when I inquired, I was told I should have requested that service. The advertisement of, “on the river,” leaves an expectation that there is some sort of river access. However quite the opposite. No access, no river walk. Just muddy water. Should have chose a different hotel.

Staff was nice and helpful. Lobby was nice and breakfast was good. However, the rooms and halls felt rundown. The pool area had a sewage/rotten egg smell and the drains around the pool were overflowing with dirty water…not good.

"Exceptional"

This location is a short walk away from Sprecher Brewery and Solly's Grille. Both of these are local, historical, family friendly, dining experiences that you can only get in Milwaukee. Being so close to both of these and right off the highway made this Holiday Inn location the optimal spot to stay for a casual trip.

Clean room, nice 1st floor view of the river.

3 hour wait to get into room. $16 breakfast that wasn't fit for dogs and the buffet was filthy. I got 2 yogurts (tiny ones) and an orange juice. Had it not been given "free" coupons, I wouldn't have bothered because $5.33 for each item was certainly not a bargain.

Website said there was a bar and restaurant and it was permanently closed. Pool/hot tub disgustingly dirty. Outdoor area overgrown, garbage overflowing, filthy. TV didn't work in room. Ice machines didn't work
