Sometimes all you need is an Ibis. I was having a horrendous experience in a horrible apartment and stumbled across the Ibis, who have a good rep in Bristol for being pretty reliable. Then everything changed. Erica at the front desk went above and beyond. She sorted me out with a room, and was an amazing combination of professional, kind and so efficient. Everyone else i've met who works here operate the same way, how did they get this many good people? The hotel is brilliantly located off Botanic Ave, and is safe, clean and affordable. But overall it was the staff that really did it for me, so kind, so good at their jobs, and willing to go the extra mile for a traveller in distress.

10/10 experience at this hotel I had to book a hotel at very short notice due to circumstances and was having a really bad day, but I received the warmest welcome from Amanda and being an Accor member I was able to check in early which made my day. All the staff were lovely and helpful and the hotel is immaculately clean. The bar is also open late which is a nice touch that you don’t always get. Can’t recommend it enough!

The greatest aspect of this hotel is the staff, they were so kind and helpful to me during my short stay and went above and beyond to assist me hours before check in. Highly recommend, great location with many restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby and a short walk from the train station.

Great hotel. Very clean and well kept, any additional requests sorted with no fuss and immediately. Front desk was very friendly, especially, the man who made me an espresso martini despite it being his first time.

Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. · Staff were polite, friendly, and always helpful. · The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. · Breakfast was hot and tasty, and as a vegetarian I really appreciated the option of vegetarian sausage – it was excellent. · Dinner was brilliant, I had Panini really enjoyed. · Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would happily recommend this hotel.

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-kept. The location was perfect—close to the Botanic Gardens and Queen’s University—making it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options, including plenty of gluten-free choices, which made my partner especially happy. A special thanks to Badrul, who went out of his way to assist my partner in getting all the gluten-free food—his kindness truly stood out. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly, always happy to help with any questions. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with plenty of hot options to enjoy. In the evening, I tried the pizza and a cocktail for dinner – both were excellent and really well prepared. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely come back.

Parking was a little bit of a challenge but in evening was okay. We had to get a extension cord from the desk for our CPap machines as there were no electrical outlets near the bed. Great place.
