ibis Belfast Queens Quarter

Great stay at this value for money hotel. I am an Accor Platinum member and stay in Accor hotels all over the world averaging 80 nights per year. This Ibis in Belfast is as good as any Ibis I have stayed in. Amanda the front office Manager provided great service and is a credit to the hotel. It’s in a convenient location 15 min walk into central Belfast and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Room was above average size for an Ibis hotel and was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this hotel if staying in Belfast.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay in Ibis Belfast Queens recently. The accessible bedroom was quite spacious. It included a large sofa bed (which was used by my aunt, as the accessible room was a double - this tends to be the usual arrangement in hotels, but not all disabled guests travel with a partner!) Anyway, the sofa bed and the spacious room alleviated any problems regarding beds (particularly as my aunt offered to take the sofa bed!). The wet room had a large shower with a seat, a shower surround and grab rails. There was enough room for a wheelchair turning circle. The comfortable bedroom also included Air Conditioning, a TV and kettle. The wardrobe and the clothing shelves had no doors, which made it much easier to access for a wheelchair user. The bedroom was very quiet; there was no noise at all from the corridor or from outside. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful (particularly the receptionist). Although the hotel was very definitely a 3 star, it was a good one. The location is in the heart of the University area. The Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum are close by, as are a number of very tasty restaurants (we very much enjoyed Villa Italia & Scalini for dinner and Molly's Yard for lunch). The only major issue that I'd mention regarding the Ibis Belfast Queens was the breakfast. The food was good (buffet style) but it wasn't always hot. On both mornings there was a quest to find side plates, bowls for cereal, cutlery, etc. Staff weren't always around during the breakfast, so you'd see guests wandering around searching for this & that... it was a little disorganised but I guess that this is something that can be easily rectified. On the whole, the Ibis Belfast Queens is good value, with friendly staff and in a great location. From a disability point of view, I found the hotel to be good with a large, quiet bedroom and a spacious wetroom. If only all hotel accessible bedrooms were the same!

Room is big and clean, staffs are accommodating. The location is great. The food during breakfast is great. Unlimited food. The area is big so you can sit down whever you want. There are lots of restaurant near the hotel.

This is a comfortable and clean hotel with friendly staff. It’s a bit no frills, only 1 towel per person and they are not really big enough to wrap round you unless you’re a pretty slender person, but like I said it’s no frills. The no frills bit doesn’t take away from comfortable beds, clean well maintained rooms and good air conditioning. I’ve got little legs and bad knees so walking into the city took about 20 minutes but it is fairly close to botanic train station and various bus stops. When you don’t want a massive walk for restaurants there were plenty within 5/10 minutes walk from the hotel. We didn’t have a car with us, but if you did you’d need to compete with street parking spots as there is no car park. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during the Open championship 2025. The location is ideal as a base in which to explore the area using either the road or rail networks. The hotel is clean. spacious and the staff were excellent. For example, I forgot my phone charger. This was awkward as all my tickets etc were on my phone. I approached the reception for help and they couldn't have been more supportive. They used their own fast charger to initiate the charge then gave me a cable to use for the rest of my stay. Thanks to Badrul, John, Deepanshu & Ciaran. The same staff members also ensure both the bar and restaurant areas are efficiently managed. In summary, I had a gold standard experience.

Room was very comfortable, simple, clean. I wish there could have been a fridge, but aside from that we were very comfortable.

The hotel is decent, especially if you put in mind the price per night in a crowded season. The Staff was excellent no complaints at all. However I would give special credit to Mr.John the receptionist, ge has been in a great aid for me. Finally, i would go for this place again.

Accessible bathroom had an unusual amount of mildew on the fixtures. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but there were a couple of staff people who seemed undertrained. Room was spacious and has AC! The AC was much loved in the unusually warm weather we experienced.

Everyone was helpful and friendly, my room was clean and it was a quite stay.
