Phowadol Resort

It’s nice but it’s a bit run down. I’d say it’s more a 3 star with nice service. Breakfast could be better but we didn’t prepay so only did it once. It is secluded but close enough to easily get a ride. Staff are great which we find to be true all over Thailand

Resort surrounded by nature. The restaurant-buffet is affordable.

The resort is called "resort and spa" and as soon as we arrived we were informed the spa had been closed for several months. The resort has so much potential but it´s completely abandoned. The pool area looks awful with a noisy motor in it. Pictures displayed in Booking were taken in the good "era" of the hotel. Breakfast could be improved

Hard bead

Do not pick this hotel based on the photos. As others have mentioned. The property today does not match those images. It is very run down. Our room had a broken shower head that leaked water everywhere. Plus you could not change the temperature on either the shower or hand basin. It came out boiling hot. Its a shame as the property has so much potential if it was maintained and upgraded. Having said that if you are aware of what you are getting, then its not the worst place to stay. Staff are lovely and super helpful.

Everything was in order and clean, sometimes the employees seemed bored but overall they were friendly .

The air conditioner was so old that it made a quite noticeable noise at night, even the neighbor's air conditioner. Definitely if you want to come to this place for the pool you should know that the pool is very bad, the water did not have chlorine, the pool is cleaned and at night it is not well lit.
