Tamarack Lodge

We loved our stay here in the lodge. So much to do, and beautiful easy trails right around the lodge. We were pleasantly surprised with a delicious continental breakfast that came with our booking. The staff was great-Peter was super friendly and super helpful. We will be back!

Tamarack Lodge is the perfect blend of rustic charm, beautiful surroundings, activities, comfort and fine dining. The cabins are beautifully rustic, impeccably clean, comfortable and charming. Our cabin (#5) had a full kitchen, a full bath, half bath, front room and dining room, full bedroom. It also had an upstairs loft with a king bed and a twin bed. A family could easily enjoy this cabin. The Lodge is a very charming and comfy lounge that has periodic happy hour entertainment. While the lake and surrounding area offers fishing, biking, hiking and scenery that rivals any national park. But the star of the show is the Lakefront restaurant. This is a gem. Offering perfectly prepared delicacies including beef Wellington, Elk medallions, Fish and other dishes, it is a 5-star gem with a view of the lakes and mountains. Great wine list and desserts to top it off. Whether you are a family of 4 or 5 or a couple looking for a quiet retreat, Tamarack lodge is the place to be! We can’t wait for our next visit.

Eigener Ofen, sehr gute Küchenausstattung, für Amerika ungewohnt gesundes Frühstück, schöne Lage am See, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal

Anzünden des Ofens mit den sehr weichen Streichhölzern etwas schwierig, eher ruhiges Hotel (durchschnittliches Alter der Gäste über 60- uns hat das überhaupt nicht gestört aber entspricht ggf. Nicht bei jedem Gast den Erwartungen)

Mammoth is our second home and we have been in every hotel and Airbnb in town… well… I must say this is our new favourite place in town! Tamarack lodge was way beyond our expectations. Cute, cosy and well kept just a couple of miles from the village. I can’t wait to go back!

Very nice accommodations. They do have a continental breakfast. The inside restaurant is $$$ but the food was incredible. Your right on twin lakes and a great place to fish, kayak ect. And nice and central for exploring the surrounding lakes and attractions.

Incredible location, cozy lodge with a brick fire place, and lake side so it has easy access to fishing. Tamarack will now be our go to spot in the spring. Special thanks to Lodge Manager, Kendra. She spent a lot of time sharing her knowledge about vegetarian/pescatarian places in town for my wife and shared her favorite near by hiking spots. Thanks to her we had a wonderful day and delicious dinner.
