This old cabin was pretty bad. Kitchen was falling apart, facet leaked, Bathroom was insanely tiny, heating was horrid, parking space was hard to get in and out of with rocks everywhere, bed to soft, windows dirty, and no cabinets in kitchen to store food! The whole inside needed a major make over on this old cabin.

My famiky of 3 stayed in Cabin 14. It was PERFECT! My 8 year old loved being able to have olenty of space to play. The ambience coukd not have been better. The kitchen was fully stocked for meals; all the way down to having a cutting board. The bedrooms are perfectly sized too. It is right across from the lake making for a perfect views and a quiet stay. Bruce was very professional and heloful with planning our trip and then taking great care of us throughout our stay. Everyone was so kind. We don't vacation a lot; so, having an amazing team working with us means we WILL be going back. You get the bang for your buck, for sure. Thank you Tamarak Lodge!

Me and my wife stayed at the Tamarack and it was a very great experience. The gentleman Bruce was the one who helped us and he was very accommodating. The Cabin was very clean and cozy and the view in the morning was amazing.

A most wonderful time spent with family at the Tamarack Lodge. A unique place to stay in our cozy, beautiful mountain cabin with loads of hiking trails, beautiful views 360 degrees. We felt completely at home with the professional service of Bruce Thompson to all matters at hand. Time truly well spent!!

Had a wonderful stay here again at Tamarack! The vibes are so nice, warm and inviting here every visit has been such a joy. Feels like home and the views are so beautiful. The fireplace feels so cozy, the beds are comfortable, water pressure was good and hot, and everything was clean. Thanks again for a great stay! Can’t wait to visit again soon!

The stay was amazing we went sledding, enjoyed the lodge, food and staff were awesome shout out to Bruce! He went above and beyond! The rooms were super cozy, cabin 14 was amazing. The drive up there from south OC was super peaceful. The cabin was super clean and the towel animals were epic. Super peaceful, not noisy at all. The main lodge was like stepping into a Time Machine, warm fire and friendly people. The stay was beyond worth the price. They do have small portable tv/dvd players available on request and a huge selection of movies. All the amenities were more than expected. Bathrooms were super cozy and clean. And I can’t say enough good about how kind and courteous the staff there is especially Mr. Bruce. He helped me and my family so much!

After enjoying hiking in Yosemite, we needed somewhere to stay within a 2 hour drive and found this awesome place. We called and made reservations with an employee named Bruce over the phone. He gave us the best customer service and made it easy. Bruce was very professional and helpful in making our stay stress free and pleasant. Meeting him in person showed us his genuine kindness and care for his customers. It’s very nice to meet and interact with people of Bruce’s caliber as they are very hard to come across these days. Would definitely visit and stay here again!
