Bayfront Westcott House St Augustine B&B

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Westcott House. The location is ideal for getting around. Most importantly the staff is amazing.

We were very pleased with our stay at Bayfront Westcott. Our room was charming, very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast selections are distinctive and delicious. The "snacks" at the evening social hour could easily be a light supper after a heavier lunch. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the location is ideal - within easy walking distance to the heart of the historic district, most attractions and outstanding restaurants. The walk to the Fountain of Youth Park is a bit of a hike, but it's an easy trek on flat terrain. Parking was a bit of a concern (four blocks away in a private lot) but it turned out that in four days we never needed our car. We were very pleased.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay with them. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even heated up some restaurant leftovers for us! It is an old historic house overlooking the bay. They make a great breakfast, of which you have many choices. Just put your card in at night after making your choices, designate time and they do the rest. There is no on site parking, but they have spaces about 4 blocks away - not city blocks, short blocks ( 6 minute walk). You can pick up tickets for the hop on/off trolley there and there is a trolley stop thats a 5 minute walk walk around the corner. Great location, great staff, comfortable room , good breakfast - you can’t go wrong!

From the moment we arrived to check-in at the Wescott House the staff were so helpful and accommodating! We enjoyed our quaint and cozy little room on the second floor, known as “The Charlotte.” My husband and I live locally but attended a wedding in downtown St. Augustine and decided to turn the weekend into a little staycation. What a perfect location to stay, just steps from the water - we had views of the river from our little balcony outside our room. Our bathroom was newly renovated with a dual head shower, which gave a spa-like feel as we were getting ready. The cozy robes came in handy when we got back so late and were chilled from a cold night of wedding festivities outside. The next morning we woke up and made our way downstairs where we were greeted by the friendly staff that brought us our gourmet breakfast and lattes to enjoy on the deck next to their beautiful courtyard. Highly recommend this place. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We will be back and hope to stay for longer than a night! Was such a treat for my husband and I!

I cannot say enough positive things about Bayfront Westcott House B & B! Location is perfect for exploring St. Augustine. You can easily walk anywhere in the historic district--sites and restaurants. And you are across from the Bay, so you can enjoy water views or a stroll by the water. The lodging is extremely clean, the rooms are spacious and inviting and the staff OUTSTANDING! Add to this the delicious daily breakfast offerings AND the generous nightly social hour offering drinks and appetizers. I highly recommend this property-- I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I returned to St. Augustine.

Bayfront Westcott is a charming Bed and Breakfast right across from the bay. Every room is different which is part of the fun. We were in 109 and would have loved to sit outside on our porch area if the weather was warmer. Breakfast and their Social Hour were both highlights of staying there. I can't say enough about the staff. They put more than 100% into making sure everything goes smoothly for their guests. We were there on a very freezing cold night - the heat in our building went out and in the other building the pipes froze. It was a Sunday and they got both the plumber and HVAC out quickly to fix the issues. They went the extra mile by making sure we had an extra heater in case it happened again (it did not). On our next visit to St. Augustine, we will be staying at Bayfront again and in room 109 if it is available!

This Victorian B&B is outstanding. The staff was welcoming, effervescent, professional, and accommodating. Our room, Isabell - 2d floor, was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order; they had brownies, cookies, and drinks available throughout the day; from 5-6:30 pm they had a social hour with appetizers, beer, wine, coffee, and soda. They are centrally located and within 15-20 minute walk to most of St Augustine’s historic sites and many places to eat.

Fun place to stay. Old house but well maintained and nice rooms. The breakfast is great, and so are the evening snacks/drinks, with both included at no extra charge. The four-blocks-away parking is free and easy to use, and the location near but away from St. George Street is perfect. It is easy to walk to anything and everything in this old St. Augustine area. We walked to and back from the St. Augustine Distillery, the Collage restaurant, and the Colonial Oak Music venue over the two days we stayed in this B&B. Would stay again if we come back to St. Augustine, but we’ve visited several times so we probably will try other areas of Florida next instead of coming back to this area.

This was the cutest and by far the most accommodating b&b I’ve ever stayed at. I truly appreciated the multiple options for breakfast which is helpful for people with dietary restrictions. I love how you can wake up early and see the sunrise over the marina. They put out a lovely spread of food along with wine from 5 until 7 which was very nice! I stayed in the Abigail room which was colored in purple which is my favorite. My only criticism, not a dealbreaker, would be that I struggled to get hot water and the armoire was difficult to open and close. Nothing that would keep me from staying here though. Thank you for a nice weekend away!

Facility is top notch and staff is friendly and helpful. Happy hour is a must with a wide selection of wine and appetizers. Breakfast has a broad offering, you will not go away hungry. Rooms are clean and quiet. Great location!
