We loved staying at the White House Inn! Staff were so helpful and friendly, and we were impressed by the breakfast. The location is idyllic and the balance of historic details and modern comforts is just right. We were nervous about noise from other rooms (we could hear our neighbor on the phone as if she was standing right next to us) but didn't have an issue sleeping. Can't wait to visit again!

Everything was great EXCEPT for an intermittent buzzing sound in the air conditioners. I assume this is a general problem throughout the building. It was true for our two rooms and we heard other people talking about it at breakfast.

Well the staff super friendly and accommodating.i would have liked a little spruce up of our room on a daily basis. Not a change of towels or sheets but emptying the trash without asking . The beds very comfortable. The grounds beautiful.I would definitely stay here again if the need arose..

This was a great place to stay, would have enjoyed staying longer. Beautiful old renovation of an old mansion house. Very comfortable bed and nice room. Desk clerk originally from Idaho was great, Made us feel welcome and gave us a tour of the facilities. Great stay

The parking was a little far from the entrances, but it was ok.

The Inn is wonderfully maintained, a beautiful New England classic. The room was comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was excellent.

The staff was fine - a bit remote, and sometimes slow to deal with such matters as running out of paper towels, napkins, etc. Generally, the staff needs to be warmer and more welcoming, and more of a presence. It felt a bit like we were staying at a place with no personal presence. Except for the restaurant, where both Patrick and Mike were great!
