The White House Inn

The room we stayed in was comfortable and had a great view from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable. I would have liked more space in the bathroom to put a cup and other things. Also, an exhaust fan would be nice in the bathroom. But it was pretty. The staff were all very gracious. We had a good meal Sunday night in the restaurant and our waiter was very nice. I knew that the restaurant would not be open on Monday and Tuesday, but it would have been nice to have the bar open for drinks on the patio in the evening on those nights.

Exceptionally lovely place to stay. You feel like you’re going back in time to a more elegant era. Loved it!

The only thing I didn’t like was that I only had one night to stay!

This is a beautiful inn. But my husband experienced no cold water during his shower! During breakfast, we had no napkins, and no server could be found. And to make matters worse, we heard loud footsteps from the room above us ( for 2 hours in the evening and an hour in the morning).

While we did not have dinner at the hotel, the restaurant and menu looked very nice!!

Staff, property, rooms and food were incredible! Amazing find for families or couples.

The Inn itself was pretty and well kept

There was nothing on the Booking.com or White House Inn website indicating the place was haunted, I would never have booked a room knowing that they even perform seances there. Especially not for the price we did. We left in the middle of the night when we found out since we don't mess with that kind of stuff and there was no one on staff if we even had an issue in the night.

The location was convenient for our weekend activities. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. Enjoyed the flea market across the street as well.

The a/c wasn’t functioning properly in our room upon arrival but we informed front desk and they were able to fix it while we were out. Lots of stairs.

We love History, and the Whitehouse Inn offered so much history and beautiful architecture and gardens and rooms! The staff and front desk were so nice and accommodating.

I think that being more than a 100 year old inn, there is nothing I can complain about.
