The Common Man Inn & Restaurant

The ambience is wonderful - the woodwork, the exposed brick wall, the high ceilings, room decor,. This is a property from another era yet fully modern with amenities and pristine bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet rooms, generous continental breakfast that included a GFDF items.. The staff are all amazing! I will definitely choose the Common Man Inn again the next time I am in the area.

Unique style. Exposed brick wall in room. Comfy Morris chair in room. Talk ceiling and windows. Hot tub. Excellent restaurant with patio overlooking small waterfall on river.

Dark breakfast area.

Fair price, restaurant on site, clean room, continental breakfast was very good plenty choices, and resident pet cat (Clair) made a visit in the morning.

At first I was put off by muffins in baggies, but tried one the second day and it was delish.

Hard pass on Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich (in fairness, I've never had one)

Love the quaint old time feel of this Inn. Like stepping back in time including a working rotary phone in the room! Our king room 226 had an amazing view of the river and comfortable bed. We wish we had stayed for dinner. We thought the restaurant was in the basement so went for a walk and ate elsewhere. Afterwards, we found it was behind the Inn in a seperate building and it was absolutely lovely and should not have been missed!
