I truly experienced the most personalized hotel service of my life at Hotel 1110! Tony and Nick were incredible: They were so helpful and welcoming, even when I made my initial booking. I came with my husband, parents, and brother for the Big Sur Marathon, and Tony woke up at 3:00 AM to put food out before the race buses! We also loved the champagne toast and snacks upon our return from the race, and the breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back someday!

Rating is reflective of the quality of the hotel. I have stayed at boutique hotels and understand that expectations may be different than chain hotels - however this is NOT a 4-star hotel and should not be listed or marketed as such. The staff were friendly, however that was the only positive of the stay. The hotel falls extremely short of its “rating” - I would even question if it qualifies as a 2 star based on an impartial rating system. There were gouges all over the room in the paint on the walls and on furniture, rusted fixtures and moldings falling off of the wall in the bathroom. They initially put us in a room on the ground floor facing an alley and the road noise was loud and disruptive. My wife is sensitive to strong chemical smells and experiences migraines caused by this, and the odor in the bathrooms with the deodorizer that they used was overwhelming making her feel ill while we were in the room. Due to this we couldn’t stay the 2nd night that was booked, and left early as it fell so far short of our expectations. They were at least accommodating to move us to another room, but the quality of the different room still did not reflect the 4 star rating. We left 1 day early despite paying for two nights and were offered an apology but no incentive to stay or offered other options. I will be contacting the booking site to ask for a partial refund and to adjust the star rating of the hotel, as we don’t want other travelers to have false expectations as we did.

We’re so happy with our stays the location and the atmosphere and everything was amazing thanks to the management the value and the service was amazing we have great time with hotel 2110 😘 the room was so clean and comfortable beds even we spent some time on rooftop deck it was amazing view of the ocean and the city of Monterey

This hotel was not as expected. The pictures on the website are not what the hotel or rooms actually look like. We walked into our room and were immediately upset with how it looked. The site lists things that would be in your room and about the room that are untrue. One big thing was it said the rooms were soundproof, but they were not and we could hear every conversation, every door slamming from each room and down the hall. The hotel was on a busy street and they said there was parking for the hotel and there were none, so we had to park in a neighborhood nearby. We felt unsafe walking back to our hotel at night. The staff did eventually accommodate us to another room with an extra charge, but he was hard to work with and fought with us for a long time. We were excited for the rooftop bar with the view and were discouraged that it wasn't open and when we went up there at night, it felt unsafe and dark. We could not control our own temperature as told and the fan in the room was extremely dusty. We had to open the windows because we were getting dust in our throats. There was rust in the bathroom where the towels were hanging and the tub had not been scrubbed since the last use. There was also a VERY loud garbage truck that came to pick up the garbage RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR WINDOW at 6AM and woke us up. We were very disappointed with how much we had spent to stay here and how terrible it was. Do not trust the website, it does not look like this!!!! We will NOT be coming back

Overall liked the clean room, area seemed safe. The only feedback would be to inform clients of the lack of parking spaces.

Love this hotel! It’s a lovely walk to the Old Fisherman’s Wharf or Cannery Row. Or walk downtown for a sweet treat or dinner. We find something new every visit!

Tony and the whole team at Hotel 1110 were amazingly attentive to our needs, from booking the room to providing for a unique romantic experience for my special occasion. The hotel itself is boutique in nature and has an eclectic themed decor. We stayed in the Audrey Hepburn room, which is quaint, cozy, and nicely decorated. The hotel is just across Del Monte Avenue from the path that will take you to Cannery Row, The Wharf, and beyond, and just a couple minutes from the beach itself by foot. Parking in the area can be slightly challenging but we circumvented that by reserving one of the limited on-site spaces. Our room included breakfast each morning, which was deliciously prepared and served with the same care I received while planning this romantic get away. I also opted for roses in our room, with a poem, chocolate covered strawberries and a chilled bottle of sparkling wine. I can't think of any reasonable request I made that was turned down. This hotel is not your average tourist trap and if you are searching for great attention to comfort I would encourage you to look beyond the negative reviews and do your homework. I cannot say this lodging is for everyone, but I can say I am now one of the raving fans who will return for future stays. One last tip, the hotel has a rooftop bar and restaurant, which provided us with a spectacular view of the bay. Our romantic dinner dinner was amazing and the service we received was on par with the rest of our experience. Definitely recommend!
