Smoky smell even on non-smoking floors; outside access doors damaged so always open; shady clientele; police regularly patrol parking lots; no towels in bathroom

All outside enterance door locks were broken. Anyone could enter. Mold in bathroom. People looking into vehicles with flash lights. NEVER STAY AT TRAVELODGE OR SUPER 8 AGAIN!!

As good as can be expected for the price.

Dirty, old, broken down. Staff was nice, hotel was not.

The elevator sounded like it was going to stop working. Carpet was so stained, the curtains where dirty and stringy, mold visible in shower, looked like blood on ceiling near sink. Gave me the creeps and didn't feel safe. I travel a lot by myself. If you are staying here, don't come alone and bring some Lysol.

Excellent place to sleep and have breakfast. Some Carpet shows wear. The hallways are not A/C, but the rooms are. Good breakfast. Excellent staff, easy to talk to. Easy to find. Less than a mile to a gorcery/ Walmart store. Less than 1 block to Gas Station. Was less than 3 miles to UNM. Plenty of restauraunts within 3 miles. NOT fancy, not a lot of hotel amentities, but a good place to sleep.

This place was totally unacceptable would not recommend it to anyone

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean considering it is an old building and it needs major updates. It was great for our quick stay during our road trip. A huge plus, parking is a breeze.

I guess I got what I paid for. The bed was comfortable and possibly clean--the sheets were fine. The comforter in my non-smoking room had a cigarette burn through it. The A/C worked slowly, but it worked. The neighborhood was a little sketchy, as were some either really drunk or heavily-under-the-influence-of-drugs fellow guests when I checked in in late afternoon. I think these things combined are what had me feeling a little ill at ease throughout, although there were several perfectly friendly, sober hotel guests, too (families, tourists, retirees). The hotel hallways smelled like old, not-cleaned smoke, and they felt humid. I didn't actually get stuck in the elevator, but definitely seemed to be on the fritz--the doors would never stay closed the first time I pushed a button, each time I rode the elevator up or down. The carpet in the room freaked me out--it had significant wear and tear signs, and it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a very, very long time. I was disappointed overall, but it was a cheap hotel stay in a location that was close to Old Town, the mall, Uptown, and other places of use/interest. I was surprised and initially confused (neither pleasantly nor unpleasantly) that this particular Travelodge is connected to and literally part of the Super 8.

The front desk receptionist was very busy- there was only one person at the desk. But she was helpful and went above and beyond!
