The Kenwood Inn

I love the historic charm of the Kenwood Inn and it's proximity to all St. Augustine has to offer. The staff is very pleasant and will go out of their way to make you comfortable.

The location was perfect for us--we are big walkers and love being in the center of the activity. The Inn is decorated beautifully in a comfortable, old-world classic styli, and the staff was exceptionally gracious and accommodating. Our room was unique, warm and comfortable. The breakfast offered each day consisted of three small plates with unique presentations of quality foods.

Historical look and properties. Very nice and respectable staff pet friendly.

My dog was barking and whining quite a bit while i was out eating , and I could not leave her there while I was out. But that was understandable and they are nice about it.

Staff were nice

Bed too soft and short for 6’2” man. Dangerous stairs!! Location was not as close to activities as planned

Location Christmas decorations were very nice.

Not comfortable- room crowded. Room was very cold and bathroom very small. Two televisions but only one worked- said they had to fix it but they never did.

This was our second year staying at the Kenwood Inn for a Christmas get together with our friends. Pat is a wonderful host. We stayed in the Bridge Suite which was very spacious. The breakfast is delicious and filling. We made reservations for next year to stay there again.

Great location. Beautiful, historic B&B. The staff were exceptional.

My mom and I booked a Thanksgiving trip to St. Augustine to see Nights of Lights and explore a city I’ve had on my list for a while. We chose the Kenwood Inn because it was rated #1 on TripAdvisor, and it did not disappoint! The staff was very communicative with pre-arrival instructions and confirming how we wanted the room to be setup, and when we realized we were not going to make it for check-in before the “office” closed, Alison was very responsive in letting us know how we would be able to access the property. The off-site parking is a very quick walk away (less than 3 minutes), and Alison provided great recommendations for places to eat upon arrival (Definitely check out Saint, which is about a 10-15 min walk). The room was very comfortable and well-stocked, and both the room and communal areas were clean and decorated beautifully for the holidays! We enjoyed sitting and admiring the decor during our wine happy hours each afternoon. The breakfasts every morning were absolutely delicious and some of the more creative dishes and flavor combinations I’ve experienced. Chef Adam deserves serious praise! The “breakfast sangria” was a fun surprise on Saturday morning. Finally, the location is excellent! Downtown St. Augustine is wild and loud (at least during Nights of Lights), so it was like coming back to a serene oasis when we made the easy 10-15 min walk back home each evening. We couldn’t imagine staying at the Hilton or one of the hotels in the thick of the action. The horse-drawn carriage tours do come by the inn, and hearing the horse hooves clipping down the street outside while got ready for dinner almost felt like we had been transported back in time. Would highly recommend the Kenwood Inn, and would absolutely stay here again if we ever return to St. Augustine!
