Nice place friendly staff meals quite pricey lacking in little extras

Stayed here a few times, lovely hotel, breakfast a little shambolic, waited 10 minutes for a pot of tea, very little mixed fruit left, no croissants and this was at 9am!

The hotel was nice. We booked through Expedia and got a ground floor room; which turned out to be a disabled room. The bed was ok for one night (we prefer a firmer mattress). Fruit in the room was a nice addition

Very nice country location easy to get to key attractions including Hardians Wall and Vindolandia. We stayed there in winter, nice cosy restaurant snd bar. Grat food and service.

Exquisite place. So much detail in everything and staff are on point. Only thing that was out of place was with all the attention to detail, they use shower curtains. Felt out of place. 12/10 would recommend

Brilliant hotel, just a bit let down that cooked breakfast started as late as 8am on a Saturday. We had to leave by 7am so missed out. Apart from that it was perfect!
