Hotel Italia Nessebar

We were accommodated at totally different hotel 100 meters across the street 'Alexandrov Apts' upon arrival. The owner does OVERBOOKING WITHOUT NOTIFYING HIS GUESTS. The room we had was dirty and old. The separate beds,bedding,sheets were shabby, filthy with cracked mattresses. We booked Italia hotel, over 2 months before arrival, because of good reviews and wanted as described sea view, king size bed and small little comfort but we've got something totally opposite we've paid for. Obviously wanted to fix it at reception desk but owner said it's partnership hotel and it had to be this way. Had no time to call hotels.com to cancel the booking due to busy schedule and planned aqua park trip. Decided to stay convinced by my girl but would never recommend this place to anyone. You never know where you could end up. I had tens of bookings with hotels.com and never wrote negative opinion but such an act below the level deserves the words of truth. I wish no one had ever such a sad and terrible experience.

Very nice small hotel, within easy walking distance of the old town. Chris, the owner made us very welcome and was very attentive and helpful. Only problem was lack of parking spaces. Had to park on the street. Only downside was there was no parking available at the hotel so we had to park on the street.

Very good crazy owner nothing to much trouble

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Italy. The hotel is small but comfortable and Chris and Katie couldn't have done more for us - they were wonderful

Fairly new very nice small hotel in what they call the old town--now almost entirely new buildings. Minor inconveniences due to off season etc more than made up by the wonderful hospitality and friendliness of the Italian owner happy to accommodate any request we may have had. Lavish breakfast with locally sourced foods and great conversation with the owner who also let us park in the garage and use our room past the check out time for the rest of the day. Owners also knowledgeable about places of interest, events, and restaurants. Totally recommended with full confidence to anybody!

Fantastic holiday, owner Chris and Kate making us so welcome nothing was to much trouble, providing us with a fantastic selection for our breakfast, excellent location, surrounded by many very reasonable priced restaurants and a short walking from old Nessebar such a lovely town.

Chris and his staff were brilliant,nothing was too much trouble,would definitely reccommend to my friends,going next year too,
