Hotel Italia Nessebar

Chris was a perfect host. A short walk to new and old town. Plenty of good restaurants with bars. Excursions available. Would visit again.

Great location - wonderful hosts.

Stayed 2 nights. The owner Gary is fantastic. Easy walk to old town Nesebar (UNESCO site). For my neads, the hotel was great. Clean, comfortable, good price, good Wi-Fi, and easy walking to old Nesebar. Gary recommended the White Rose restaurant which is 2 blocks away. After eating there, I recommend it as well. Many other restaurants around, but some closed due to off-season. Note: There is an elevator, but you still may need to go up a couple steps for some rooms as elevator goes to a landing between floors. Also, if you plan to arrive late, you MUST let hotel know in advance.

Great welcoming friendly hotel right in the heart of Nesebar with great restaurants only a stones throw away. Old town Nesebar only a 10 walk where you have bus, ferry and mini train links to sunny beach. Bus fare 1.30 lev, ferry 5lev one way. Hotel extremely clean and breakfast choice was good. Room was a bit small and had no coffee/tea making facilities but had a balcony and good air con. Parking was on street only. All in all a good hotel and would highly recommend

This was a 1 night stay to enjoy sightseeing in old Nessebar (15 mins walk away). It was a perfect base with a great breakfast and a good stopover on the way back to bourgas airport (30 mins drive)

On the edge of a small town so not too noisy traffic wise but extremely vocal seagulls which seem to take over the area. Rooms are functional, basic, clean (nice touch having carpet underfoot) and the shower was fantastic. Minibar based on trust and items are very cheap. Chris the owner and his family are all lovely and cannot do enough to please, breakfast is plentiful but caters more to European tastes. That said, Chris was very happy to provide french toast for us on more than once occasion after having it earlier in the week. Chris happily guided us to local restaurants and best places to visit. Pool and surrounding area is very clean, the only thing I would say is watch out for the maintenance manhole as the cover is rarely on and a child could easily go astray! We would definitely return to Bulgaria and intend on staying at Italia again when we do.
