La Casa Delle Fate

The property and host were both fantastic and I would highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect, it is right beside the beach and surrounded by a wonderful choice of restaurants. I would definitely go back.

The area though no fault at all by the host is a little noisy

Loved our stay in La Casa Delle Fate. The apartment was very spacious with everything needed for a comfortable stay, eg bottled water, toiletries, tea/coffee even some capsules for the washing machine. The host Lucà is exceptional, he couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. A bottle of wine and a beautiful home made cake baked by Lucà’s mother was a special touch. Thank you Lucà for making our trip to beautiful Syracuse so enjoyable. We look forward to our next trip and would highly recommend booking this property which is in a fabulous location in Syracuse close to the sights, sea and lovely restaurants.

Nothing to dislike

Die gute Erreichbarkeit aller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Mutter des Vermieters hatte uns als Willkomensgruss eine kleinen Kuchen gebacken. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat sich um alles herbvorragnd gekümmert. Das Appartement hatte viel Platz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, mit Blick zum Meer und auf die belebte Straße.

The location is excellent

The apartment is a bit small and somewhat worn, so it cannot really be compared to a good hotel accommodation.

The property was in a perfect location and we were made very welcome by the host and his mother with wine and a home made tart. The property was charming and spacious and enjoyed a beautiful terrace over the rooftops to the sea. The host was at hand to answer any queries we had about transfer from the airport or where best to watch the football!

It was very clean and close to main attractions of Ortigia. Luca was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel like home. Without his guidance our trip quality would not have been the same.

Some towels have reached end of life. Even if they were clean once wet they had that stale smell. We did have enough clean towels to avoid using those ones so it was not a major issue.

Lovely classic old house. Well maintained. Quiet at night. Extremely helpful host.

Kitchen was a little on the small side

Luca our host was extremely kind and accommodating, he gave us brilliant recommendations of places to visit with kids, sight see and places to eat. The flat is gorgeous, airy, air conditioned and comfortable with everything we needed with the added bonus washing machines to use. The location was fantastic- right by Spiaggia di Cala Rossa beach where the water is clear and the kids loved catching fish and crabs. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The flat is in a quiet residential street. We arranged a parking garage via Luca for our stay which was very close walking distance which was convenient as there is no street parking.
