Kein Frühstück aber gleich nebenan könnte man sehr gut frühstücken.

The staff were both friendly and helpful, especially in the bar in the evening. They had good knowledge of the local area and were able to point us in the direction of a local restaurant. The 4 poster bed was very comfortable and the TV had Netflix.

Despite Booking.com saying breakfast was provided, it wasn't. They have said they tried to update the advert but it has not been processed yet. Tea and coffee were provided in the room, which was basic but tidy. An extra large towel as standard would have been good.

Only issue was not knowing there was scaffolding up for refurbishment when booking.

Location was the reason for booking, convenient for plans involving the Forest of Dean and climbing at Harrison’s Rock.

Not the best value for money, the room wasn’t the cleanest and it had a very weird smell to it. Radiator is installed in the room but l but was not very effective. Parking is fine but it is limited.

There nothing yo like. Mouldy bathroom I'm sure it's illegal to rent mouldy apartments. The staff was unprofessional. I have asked for the 3 towels becouse there was only one set of towels for 3 people. The girl was flirting with the boys at the bar and promised to give us more towels at the end of her shift. It sounded like I'm disturbing her flirting and what I asked is not her job at all. I believe she forgot about it at the end of our conversation. 😁😁 Kettle wasn't working.

I had a very comfortable one-night stay.

A larger towel would have been nice.
