The room was clean

Dark reception, Key missing for room. No food in pub was sent to another pub. Room bed lights didnt work no rubbish bin no milk. Nowhere to park

Staff - Tiffany & Fabio very friendly & helpful thank you both. Lovely 4 post bed & the fire in the bar very welcoming when it was lit.

There is some work needs doing to update it but the owner shared what he plans to do he has some brilliant ideas.

Interesting property because of the historical aspect

We paid over the odds for the accommodation, the drinks we had were also overpriced

The pub itself has that lovely historic feeling though I didn't stay for a drink. Location is good.

Stayed one night for a friend's birthday. Hotel is quite run down. When I checked in staff were busy serving friends at the bar and had to wait to be served at the hotel reception despite guy at the bar calling over to me that someone would be with me soon. Rooms are very rundown, holes in the wall. Could do with a lick of paint and some TLC. Rooms appeared at first glance clean but under the toilet seat it didn't appear to have been cleaned in months. Stains and hairs stuck to the seat. Didn't use the shower or cups. Disposable plastic beer cups for water. I don't recall being told there was no kitchen and as such no breakfast. No sign of any staff in the morning, the hotel was completely dark and locked up in the morning, completely deserted. Had to go out the back door and post the key through the letterbox.

Dirty carpets, no in room kettle (no tea / coffee), no parking, no breakfast offered, no staff in the morning, bathroom / bedside water glasses were reused beer pint plastic glasses (Guinness). And it was v noisy.

Clean and comfortable

No towels provided. Staff were alerted but no towels were brought. No-one was at reception in the morning so we used our own clothes to dry off after bathing.
