The Chester House Hotel - Previously Chester Court Hotel

It was great to have a fridge, kettle, cup, coffee, tea, sugar in the room, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was good but the dinning room was small for the number of guests having breakfast at same time. The location was good, only 25 minutes walk from the centre.

The location is excellent for all the surrounding places to visit. Chester city centre, Chester zoo, Cheshire Oaks designer outlet etc.

I found the dining area for breakfast a little too small for the amount of guests staying at the hotel.

We had the family room - it had everything we needed and more! The staff went above and beyond to be helpful.

Nothing to improve on that I can think of!

The staff were lovely. Rooms Comfortable. Wish there was aircon. Very warm at night. Breakfasts tasty. Easy to park. A very easy experience. Thank you!

Amazing periodic hotel. Amazing features to the interior and stunning interior furniture.

The room was very hot only one window opened and the room had constant noise from the road. People walking past talking . Sirens flashing lights from emergency services. Constant flow of cars all through the night. The windows are very shabby when looking to see if they open. Huge cobweb on them from the inside. The breakfast staff were very abrupt shouting lady to me and boy to a young man on another table. Waited at least 15 mins for a fried egg. There was no organisation with the breakfast staff. The lady who checked us in was great. Very helpful and gave us some great tips on the area in which we took her advice and had a lovely afternoon out and about. We didn’t get any sleep and we were ready to drive home at 3am we had had enough. If it hadn’t been for us having to travel somewhere else first on our journey back home we would have left this hotel. It wasn’t a cheap stay neither so I would have expected to have enjoyed my stay away from home. The room itself had excellent equipment. Microwave, fridge. Hairdryer, kettle and some light snacks which I thought was lovely. However I was very let down. And I would not recommend this hotel unless you are not bothered about friendly breakfast staff or if you don’t mind no sleep.

My room was like a small apartment every thing you needed for your stay breakfast was amazing car parking lovely clean room shower was very powerful staff were wonderful.

The property was lovely & good sufficient parking. We had a great breakfast as we were visiting Chester zoo which was 3km from the guest house. Lovely big beds and restaurants around us.

As it was a beautiful weekend I was surprised to see that there was no air conditioning. Other than that it was a perfect vacation.

Very little. The shower floor was very slippery and would have benefitted from having a grip mat to prevent falls.
