"Slummy digs that felt like a trap house"

It was quiet

It smelt of cannabis. The exterior was rundown, over grown vegetation , the stairwell was filthy, the shower barely worked, the internet only worked downstairs

The room was spacious and reasonably clean. Bed was comfortable. Location was good for me but might not be for everyone.

Check in procedure confusing - sign outside says Mountford Rooms - no mention of Beech Mount Grove Studios. Booking com did not make clear that this is an annex to the hotel in the next street and that have to go to Hotel. Room was rather basic for the price. Lack of a working plug socket anywhere near the bed to charge phone/watch very frustrating. Security was dubious. Alarmed to come back one one evening to find front door wedged open.

Outstanding. Big rooms, clean, big beds, confortabile, quiet area, hot water in the shower, kettle, coffee. Parking spaces on the rear, closed gate

Everything was okay and very passable. Staff were very friendly. Good location for me.

Rooms were a little small. Would have preferred a cooked buffet as well as cold. Breakfast area was quite dimly lit, i’m assuming because it was on a lower level and the plants were blocking a lot of the light where we were sat. Out room did smell of cigarettes badly.

"Basic but OK for 1 night"

The suites were in a good location for our concert at Sefton Park.

These rooms are very basic and the mattress on bed very uncomfortable. Not worth the price we paid.
