Hilton Pensacola Beach

Being right on the beach and near shopping and restaurants. I love the fact there was a pool area for toddlers

When my family stayed here the resounding comment from all five was "wish we could've spent more time next door". After some rain moved in around Tampa, we switched our plans to stay in Pensacola Beach longer. Unfortunately, the Holiday Inn we were staying at was not able to accommodate us. So, we booked rooms here thinking it would be a comparable experience. Boy, were we wrong. This place is a dump. Only thing that is updated is the lobby area, they make that look fancy. But other than that, everything is old and worn down. The rooms were very musty, and the bathrooms had paint missing and the tubs (yes, they still had old tubs) were chipping. The pools were extremely cold, and we quickly found out why there was no one swimming. If you are travelling to the area, take my word for it, stay next door at the Holiday Inn. Was shocking actually how much better the Holiday Inn was, even when I was expecting the complete opposite.

Loved that it was centrally located to everything. Nice boardwalk to get on the beach. Outside bar and grill had good food and drinks and friendly staff.

Room seemed run down. Rust and tile issues in bathroom. Fridge was broken upon arrival but they swapped it out. Random wet spot in corner of room we never touched.

This "resort" is the quality of a Motel 6. Filthy dirty rooms, paint peeling from the walls and ceiling. Air vents haven't been cleaned in years, mold in the shower, waters leaks in bathroom, lights burned out, balcony filthy, windows filthy, smells. The pools were filthy, trash all over the grounds, pool chairs disgusting. Only reason I gave it a 2 was that the staff was great and the manager did compensate us. They also compensated our travel partners. The other hotels on the island may not have all of the amenities onsite but for $400/night at this one, skip it.

Location is great and in walking distance of many restaurants and activities. It was nice that it was right on the beach with easy access to the beach. Loved the bar out by the pool. Room was very clean.

Long lines at lobby desk throughout most of our stay. Lines always at the elevators. Felt very crowded at times. Restaurant didn't have many options and was very overpriced. Room was overpriced and should have included breakfast. We paid over $1100 for three nights and breakfast was available to us at $20+ each if we wanted it.

Check out time is 10 am. Check in time is 4 pm. They're unfairly restricting access to rooms in order to not hire so many housekeeping staff.

Such a great hotel we stay 2 to 3 times a year. Front desk always takes care of us knows how to recognize diamond status and are always so sweet. Carrie, I think runs the FD and she is awesome!!

We had a wonderful visit to Hilton Pensacola Beach! Michael at the bellman was very welcoming and set the scene for a stress free relaxing stay . The location can’t be beat most beautiful beach front location plus a nice selection of entertainment and shopping all within walking distance
