Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

There is much to like here. Rooms are nicely proportioned, comfy, and immaculately clean. Speedy WiFi is helpful. I liked the sheltered nature of the main entrance and proximity to various stores and eateries. Window views are great. But the best feature is the accommodating staff. Without exception, every worker I encountered was genuinely friendly. There are only two flaws. One is the odd situation with the elevators - having to use two separate banks to get to your room. The second is the odor of food in the hallways (but not in the rooms). But the great location is the overriding factor.

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is a colossal letdown. It’s incredibly old and hasn’t received any investment in its facilities. The place feels dirty, and there’s even hair on the linens. The decor is reminiscent of the 1980s. This property desperately needs renovation or a rebranding because it falls far short of the standards of a flagship luxury hotel.

The best Vegas hotel we’ve ever been to. Have been coming to Vegas on and off for 20+ years and have always tried to find a non-gaming hotel. With Amex Platinum rewards, this place is terrific: Valet drive up means no long parking line, excellent lobby also with no long lines, room upgraded and very well appointed, noon check-in honored, quiet ambience with high-end fixtures and fittings, great pool area, food credit, breakfast credit, and steps to the trip. Attentive and professional service. Excellent.

Fun spring break getaway. The pool area was so great and it's why we made the trip. Pastries at the breakfast spot were very good. The location next to the high end shops was fun. The room was beautiful with a great bathtub.

We usually were able to check in at 2 or 3 pm. Now is almost 4 pm and we were told that their normal check in time is 4 pm. Not a response that we expected from a Waldorf Astoria. Our previous stays several years ago were excellent. It appears to have gone downhill. The interior looks bright and nice but the service so far has been far not up to standard.

konieczność zmiany wind- to jest idiotyczne i uciążliwe bo za każdym razem trzeba tracić czas - nie ma bezpośredniej windy do pokojów. Brzydki jest obszar przejścia na 3 -m pietrze jak w 2-star hotel. to bardzo pogarsza wizerunek hotelu i komfort gości. Na basenie brak parawanów i strasznie wiatr wieje - tak bardzo przeszkadza ze uciekłem natychmiast - nie ma się gdzie schować przed tym przeciągiem. herbaty mimo czajnika w pokoju trzeba było zamawiać u hauskeeping aby donieśli.

Absolutely incompetent employees. I have been a Hilton Honors member since 1999. I have never been treated with such unprofessionalism. Nice hotel and clean. Front desk staff overhaul is a must.
