Fantastic, the owner was helpful and lovely. We had a mess up in our adventure plans and they were helpful and kind. A great neighborhood ams close to train. Will stay there again Soon!

When we arrived reception not there, door locked. Very small family run hotel. Visitors must be flexible Staff, when there, delightful. Breakfast excellent. Positive cultural experience.

People and service was rude and very unclean. Would not recommend this place

very old hotel. musty odor. Room clean enough, and very convenient to Gay Village, but if your used to a Hilton or Sheraton, this is not for you....

Perfect location. In town for the Jazz Festival. 10 minute walk along St Catherine Street and you are in the middle of all the action. Far enough away to relax at the end of the night away from the hustle and bustle of the very large crowds. Continental breakfast gets you on your way in the morning.

Look, I realize this is a budget hotel for budget minded travelers. But that is still no excuse for trying harder. From the moment I walked to the door, it went all downhill. the front door was chipped and paint was peeling off. The doors were locked and the doorbell was not working (which they knew about but still did not hang a sign). The room itself was okay, but the bed was so uncomfortable that my neck is still stiff. There is no bar soap in the bathroom. The Internet logs you off every 20 minutes or so. It's all these little things that add up to a mediocre stay. If they just tried a little harder to be a better hotel, this could be an amazing place.

If you are looking for a budget hotel in a good part of town, this is the place to stay. Just make sure you check in before 10pm or 11pm since the service desk closes at around that time.

The room we booked looked nothing like pics. Stated premium linens and it was horrible. No AC!!! Random people who spoke mostly Spanish at front desk Outlet in bathroom did not work nor did 1/2 the lights. Main room window was broken and stuck in an open position. Entire place smelt damp. Bathroom was actually quite nice as it was the only thing renovated in the last 40 years. Continental breakfast was decent. No ice available anywhere in hotel.

Room small but acceptable. Was right next to UQAM and the library and bus station. Metro a very short walk. Carpet very old, but room has been updated. Low end furniture but temperpedic mattress. Breakfast good, temperature and water good. Internet reliable. Just replace the carpet and this will be a gem for the $.

Place is nice and cozy. Nothing really special. Good affordable stay. The only great thing about this hotel is the perfect location.
