JAZ Aquamarine

Great stay, very nice hotel. Special thanks to Mostafa from housekeeping – he was always kind, helpful and made our room perfect every day. The food is great honestly, could’ve had more options or different dishes every day, but overall it’s really good in my opinion. It’s really clean outside and inside. People are really nice, polite with sweet kind of humor.

Had the best stay of my trip at the Jaz Aqua Marina in Hurghada, Egypt. The resort is large with over 15 swimming pools, boutiques, pharmacy, clinic and several restaurants. The resort is all inclusive and caters for every kind of foodie, vegan and vegetarians as well. If you have kids and are planning to visit Egypt, the Jaz Aqua Marina is definietly a must stay for you! Can't wait to go back!

This was our first time to Egypt and on arrival we met a few people who had stayed at the hotel many times previously which was reassuring. We needn’t have worried, this hotel was amazing! I cannot recommend enough! A beautiful setting, very clean, amazing food and drinks and such friendly and helpful staff. We ate at Ninos, Makai Takai, Amaya and Four Corners. We also ate from the stands near the beach, noodles and spring rolls, great food all round! Bar staff were attentive on the beach and in the lobby bar. Brilliant holiday and we hope to return soon!

we had a good time unfortunnaly there are a lot of people who lay there towels at the beds by the pool in the morning one morning we counted over 100 towels and no people on it. terrible !! tip: take them away and lay them by te reception let them pay to get them back

This hotel what can I say it’s amazing very clean they are obsessed with cleaning the food is 10 out of 10 we visited 4 of the restaurants and the food was lovely the rooms very nice and clean the staff brilliant I cannot say anything wrong about this hotel there are lots of pools and if you can’t find a subbed one of the life guards will find you one I think they have a secret stash somewhere beware of the towel police he comes round in a morning about 8 am and if he see a bed unoccupied he will leave a ticket stating it can only be reserved for one hour !! It only happens in the main pool where the beds are made of wood and have mattresses on them . There’s a lovely young man who even cleaned your sunglasses 🕶️we were in a ground floor room it was a family room and had 2 rooms one with a king bed in the other bunk beds and a single bed . The terrace was lovely overlooking the pool the only thing is there’s 2 steps down to go on the grass but it slopes a bit difficult if you have bad legs see pic . All in all I definitely would recommend this hotel and give it more than a 5 star.

Amazing!! We stayed at this hotel from March 9th to March 16th and were very happy with our stay - in fact already thinking about when to return! Hotel The hotel is BIG. Very large and lots of things to explore, bars, restaurants, pools etc. All of the staff we came across were very friendly and always helpful. The hotel don't provide maps and it is a case of go and explore. There are maps on the complex but it would be handy if there were maps in the rooms and info on how to find the snack areas and what is available. I actually discovered a lot of info via FB as its not indicted on the map/food board. They do have a QR code to scan but i didn't get on with this as it had lots of info. Room We stayed in room 1028 and it was great - there was some noise from the fantasia bar in the evening but once the air con was on, it blocked it out. I liked the location as it was close to the main pools. Our housekeeper was Refaat and he was great - super helpful and rooms were always kept spotless. The room key card was an issue, it often didn't work so had to go and get it reset at reception, which even though our room was fairly close, it was still a bit of a trek to get to it. they said it was 'cos it was near my phone but even when it wasn't and it was in the case, it still happened. Gym I used the Gym daily, i used to go first thing. It was busy but plenty of room and enough equipment to do a bit of a workout. they provide towels and water. also lots of weight ranges and mats for exercise/stretching. Spa We had a treatment in the spa - the 2 people. it was pricey but it was a great experience. We had Brenda and Becky doing our treatments, they were both great, esp Becky who took so much care with my mum. The massages were really good and the spa is lovely and clean. Pools/activity We mainly stayed near the main heated pool, enjoyed it. I did some aqua gym/dumbells/trampoline most days; really enjoyed it. I also did yoga with the animation team which was great. the guys around the pool bringing drinks, Daniel and Ahmed, were both lovely. The only gripe i have about the pool area is the towels and beds. People must be going there at 7 to reserve the beds! i went out at 7.30some days when going to the gym and lots of beds were already taken with towels. However, these people didn't often appear until gone 10am. This isn't fair and its the same people that take the same areas. the lifeguards do put notes on, but no-one takes interest and they carry on doing it and the lifeguards don't move the towels despite the warning. it would be best if this practice was stopped and people only took the beds when they needed them. It isn't fair. Food & Drinks The food was good overall, lots to chose from but sometimes the meat could be a bit fatty. Again loads to choose from, when we were there we had kebab, rotisserie chicken, roast leg of lamb, the list goes on. I could always find something nice to eat. Breakfast was also great, pancakes, eggs how you want them, an array of breads, meats, cheeses, salads, cereals, pastries etc. really was lots of food. we mainly ate in Topaz but Four corners was also very good although less selection I think. In topaz, I have to give a shout out to Kariem, he was great. Always found us a table and got drinks etc for us, so helpful. I enjoyed the drinks I had, i though the alcohol was great, my particular favourites were the Boudie Collins cocktail and the Mediterranean gin and tonic. However, I think I lived on the caramel ice coffee, that was perfect. A La Cartes We went to three whilst we were here, Makai Takai (Asian) which was great. We didn't have teppanyaki but saw it, a good show. Also Amaya (Indian) was great, the food was very tasty - hats off to the Indian chef. We also went to Ninos (italian)but that was the worst of the bunch for me, the pizza wasn't flavourful and the beef was tough. The pizza in the pool bar was much better and very tasty. Overall the holiday was great. had a wonderful time. the weather was 23-26 most days which is perfect for some march sun, very happy.

Very rude behaviour from Shady reservations manager and Ahmed Bahy from the reception that made us cancel our booking altogether.

Wonderful hotel. Loads of places to eat. Staff helpful and kind. Can’t rate hotel higher. Great experience for me and my family

Fantastic 10 night stay at this hotel. Could not fault anything about the place. Staff are all very hardworking and helpful. Will definitely visit again
