Room was dated Felt surface clean but overall not thoroughly clean Do not appreciate the parking fee!! Ridiculous

Excellent staff! The Hotel is in a great location. Nice amenities a breakfast lounge, patio, and free parking. Rooms are spacious, clean and pet friendly.

My family was very disappointed in our recent stay at Hyatt Place. After reading reviews, we felt confident this hotel would check all the boxes for a simple overnight stay. We were wrong! Upon entering our 2 bed room with sofa, we immediately noticed the ottoman was completely scratched up and the couch was stained. We could see it with the lights off. We went back to ask for another room and were given another room in front of the elevator, but was told the hotel was sold out. So reluctantly we took the room by the elevator. The second room was equally unsatisfactory. The furnishings were old, couch stained, tub stained, and dirty tub mat was rolled on top of the toilet. There was a small hole in the bathroom wall, smudges on the headboard, grease stains on the wall, tissue in the toilet already and scratches in the baseboards and on the wood around the bed, and other surfaces. Overall, it didn't meet our standards in the least. I can't imagine every room looks like this, because where are these reviews coming from. And for the price there have to be much better options. We will never stay here again. My skin is still crawling.

My husband and I were welcomed upon our arrival and made to feel like a valued member of the Hyatt Family. The staff was super helpful and our room was clean and in order. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had at a hotel and we take a lot of road trips. It is conveniently located near shopping and a major Highway that will take you to the beach on one end and the City or Eastern Long Island on the other. A great place to stay.
