The Old Cable Historic House

the hotel was only a short walk down to the village and to the water. Beautiful area to stay in. We had a great dinner at The Sea Lodge. We were there off season, so there were not many places open. We explored the Ring of Kerry and had a great stay! Our only negative was the beds were not comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful coastal B&B within walking distance to town with great pubs and restaurants, including Charlie Chaplin's favorite, Fishermen's Bar. Margaret's Irish breakfasts are incredible. We had a lovely stay and hope to return!

Needed a family room for an off season trip. Restaurant is not open during the off season, but were were able to arrange breakfast. Accommodations were adequate. Would recommend if you don't need anything fancy or exciting.

Conveniently located for a visit to Waterville. Good parking. Tea and coffee facilities were shown on Hotels.com but not actually in room. Supplied following our pointing this ommission out.

I slept only a few hours because the mattress on the bed in my room was an absolute joke. I tossed and turned, and eventually got up and moved to the second bed in my room. It was just as bad. This place fails on the most fundamental level because of that one single issue.

Perfectly fine for what we wanted... a place to stay that was convenient to Waterville Golf Club.

Our experience at the Old Cable House made us feel so at-home and welcomed. It was the perfect place to spend a night in instead of going out, with cozy big beds and a truly delicious dinner/breakfast cooked for you. The bathroom also had quite the impressive shower that seemed to be updated recently. Perfect for a little getaway.

The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and parking is very easy. The check-in process was very quick and smooth.
