The Phoenix Hotel Zermatt

We had a great stay at the hotel Phoenix for four nights. The hotel is located on a quiet street some distance from the center, but, it is walkable with rolling luggage. The last hundred meters to the hotel is uphill so save some energy. The Phoenix touches all the requirements: comfortable bed, nice bath with plenty of hot water, fast Internet service, and a tasty breakfast every morning. What sets this property apart is the warm hospitality. Yolanda in the reception was warm and welcoming. She was a great source of information and had excellent recommendations on things to do. As a bonus, she is an excellent weather forecaster and helped us select the clearest days for one of our hikes, which gave us views of the Matterhorn all day long. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on also. In summary, the Phoenix is an excellent choice.

這間飯店真的超讚！雖然我預定的不是馬特洪峰房型，但有兩個陽台，可以看策馬特街景。採光非常充足，清晨可以沐浴在策馬特的陽光中！床鋪很舒適，房內有膠囊咖啡機，同時可用於提供飲用熱水。浴室非常大，使用起來很舒適。早餐非常豐富，除了傳統歐式早餐，還提供熱湯和炒蛋，還有一整個桌子的起司吧，數十種起司可供選擇。飯店人員態度非常親切，入住的時候有問旅遊規劃，聽說我們要去五湖健行，提供地圖外，還詳細解說路線、時長、纜車位置等等，也說明策馬特城區路線。整體來說非常推薦！

入住三天飯店只提供每人一小瓶shampoo跟乳液，不太夠用，而且打掃房間不會補充，但可以再去跟櫃檯要，他們會很樂意多給。

Great hotel in heart of beautiful Zermatt. Lovely welcome from staff. Spacious, super clean, beautifully decorated and furnished rooms. Dry comfortable and well looked after for our two night stay. Inclusive breakfast buffet was amazing too. Thank you for a lovely stay. Although three star rated we’d definitely say it was a cut above.

Extrem freundliches Personal!

Great place to stay in Zermatt. Quiet location but an easy walk into the main village. All the staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The room was beautiful. Spotlessly clean, spacious and with a fabulous view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was also included and offered a fine selection of items, especially all the Swiss cheeses, good coffee and was kept very well stocked. All in all, a perfect place to stay in Zermatt.
