Location is good, staff is kind.

The heater isn't working, and the room feels colder than outside. The blanket has a vomit-like smell. The shower takes a long time to get hot water, which wastes a lot of water. The water pressure from the sink tap is very weak. Overall, the facilities are in poor condition, so we haven't been very happy with our stay.

Clean & cheap

There was no soap in bathroom & shower. But i’m sure it was a once off error

The room was clean and very well appointed. It was well furnished with comfortable chairs for TV viewing as well as a desk with 2 chairs. Bathroom was large, the shower was a good size and we liked the flexible shower nozzle and plenty of hot water.

Nothing needed to be improved as we were pleasantly surprised how nice the room was and that it was very well furnished.

Manager was very helpful and made us feel welcome.

I have stayed at Park Drive Kempsey many times over the years, but unfortunately it seems to be going downhill. The property is looking tired and in need of a major makeover and refurbishment. On my most recent stay there wasn't even any soap provided in the bathroom, which was disappointing. The location is still convenient, but overall the standard of accommodation has declined compared to previous visits.
