White Grass Ocean Resort & Spa

Das White Grass Ocean Resort & Spa ist meiner Ansicht nach eine der besten Unterkünfte in ganz Vanuatu. Das Personal ist unfassbar freundlich und hilfsbereit und selbst wenn man hier nur einen kurzen Aufenthalt verbringt fühlt es sich an, als würde man zur großen Resort-Familir gehören. Dies trifft wirklich auf jeden Mitarbeiter zu, vom Manager über die Bedienungen im Restaurant bis hin zu den Gärtnern. Die Lage, direkt am Meer, ist natürlich hervorragend und die Anlage ist sehr gut gepflegt, ebenso die Bungalows, die alles an Ausstattung bieten, was es für den Aufenthalt braucht. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr zufriedenstellend, egal ob Frühstück, Mittagessen oder Abendessen. Es gibt stets eine gute Auswahl an frischen Lebensmitteln und Gerichten, die mir sehr zugesagt hat. Zudem kann man hier auch einige Touren zu guten Preisen buchen - es bleiben keine Wünsche offen!

Le personnel le plus désagréable de tout notre séjour au Vanuatu. Peu souriant peu accommodant. Alors que notre réservation etait pour 5 avec un prix pour les 5 bien precisé, il nous demandait de payer un lit supplémentaire pour un de nos enfants. La piscine est très javelisée et trouble Les plats sont corrects mais de bien moindre qualité que dans beaucoup d endroit même reculé pour un prix très significativement supérieur

White Grass Ocean Resort & Spa is close to the airport with free airport transfers, the staff were super friendly and very helpful from the start with pre booking tours and communication before we even arrived. They have reef shoes and snorkelling equipment to hire and the ocean views are beautiful. It is close to the Blue Cave by a small fishing boat and about a 2hr drive to the Volcano, which was a highlight of the trip! Would recommend an underwater camera and a jacket with a hood for the Volcano to protect you from the light ash falling.

Loved the accommodation - a thatched bure in a coconut grove with views of the ocean breaking on the reef. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, and the food provided was excellent. The tours organised to Mt Yasur volcano and to the Kastom village with its subsistence lifestyle were first-class. Praise to driver Philip for coping with some difficult roads! Praise too for Madison and Jackson at the dive centre who took us to an amazing snorkelling site. Will have many wonderful memories of our stay.

It was unfortunate that the centre's WiFi didn't reach our bure. And some air-conditioning would have been welcome!

Great location near the airport, but a bit far from the volcano. Great infrastructure, with pool and restaurant with great food. Staff always happy.

Had problems with bedbug, but the staff helped with that. Asked for help with a fee we paid at the volcano, but besides saying they would help me with a refund, nobody did.
