The Bell Hotel Thetford by Greene King Inns

I agree with several other reviewers: service at The Bell is excellent, the food (we had) was very good and our room was comfortable . However, it's a shame that Greene King do not seem to be attending to items of wear and tear in the building. Overall though we were very happy with our stay, and felt it was good value for money.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff, amazing food. Great building, though some of the property was tired and could do with a refurb, though it was all very clean.

Staff were excellent, breakfast very good. Sadly paintwork and furniture vary dated. Generally everywhere was well cleaned and bed linen was very good.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Although I am a lone woman, I didn’t feel at all uncomfortable either staying at The Bell, or walking around Thetford in general. I thoroughly recommend The Bell, and will be staying there again. I had previously stayed at the Travelodge in Thetford.

Very tired and dated rooms No hot water in the morning, so cold shower, unacceptable Won’t be back

Beautiful old building but needs some TLC.
