"Lovely staff"

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. They were always ready with a smile and an offer to assist in any way. The location of the property, right next to the park and in walking distance to the city center was ideal. I would definitely stay there again.

"Great hotel after TranzAlpine train from Greymouth"

Excellent location, great facilities. Yes, George is coming on the rest of our tril through New Zealand, Fiji and Sydney. Then he will be spending most of his time near Manchester, until our next adventure.

"Loved this place!!"

We loved our stay here! While the outside looks slightly dated, the inside was gorgeous! Everything has been updated and yet still held onto its classic charm! The staff were friendly and welcoming — every time we went in and out. The room was well sized….and the bathroom floor was HEATED! The bar was a nice place to have a nightcap. They offer free self-laundry which was quite handy for us. It is well located. We parked the car and walked everywhere. We will stay here again!

"Superb location on Hagley Park"

Fabulous hotel in a great location next to Hagley Park in the centre of the city. Lovely restaurant with a very nice menu for both dinner and breakfast. We were very impressed and will be back

Absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were welcoming and kind. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We really liked the heated bathroom floors. Overall, it was a great stay. We would come back in a heartbeat.

"Lovely place to rest, hang out and great location."

Great location to check out many places in Christchurch. The hop on hop off trolley station within 15 min walk and was perfect. Comfortable beds, quiet, very friendly. Nice area to gather with friends for drink and play cards.
