Kings Arms Hotel by Greene King Inns

The staff were very pleasant friendly people.

The bedroom was poor. The shower had no means of determining the hot/cold water, had no liquid soap in the dispenser as was the case in the bathroom, one towel only was provided. The sash window opened with difficulty and had to be propped open. The bedroom needed redecorating and whole hotel is tired and in need of an overhaul.

I fell in the very dark Carl park and I am still suffering with a stiff neck. I reported this and have had no further contact from the company apart front m the usual standard response

The rooms are looking a bit tired and need updating but for the price I have no complaints

Very clean, comfortable bed, good food and excellent staff. Exceptional value.

The property is old and in need of a refurbishment but it didn’t detract from our stay as it offers great value for money.

Good location for my needs visiting the nearby airfield

Breakfast was very good. Room was large and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom spacious and light

Room was airless even with window open which made it very noisy from the road. Taps on the sink didn't turn off properly. Taps on the shower were very difficult to turn on and off. No shelving for wash bags etc. Had to put them on the floor.

Ambience and situation

bathroom had a leak as did the radiator in the room. Very minor point
