Niente, forse il prezzo un po’ alto per la struttura in sé, ma il servizio compensa

Really need a luggage rack. Bathroom only had tub/shower. A bit of a maze to get to your room. Breakfast buffet had a large selection of hot and cold options.

Our room was large with an extra bed. Some noise from hallway and upstairs.

Immediate impression was of warmth and welcoming from staff. Wonderful building and location, makes the stay even more pleasant. Rooms and beds are not huge but if you are the type that likes a cosy hotel with great restaurant and bar then this is ideal location

For our more expensive stay on our trip we were disappointed to have an annexe room which you had to access through the dining room. The dinner menu is not exactly exciting and there were piles of chairs and a table being repaired with tools on it next to our table. All the other accommodation much lower in cost always had a breakfast menu and a full cooked breakfast, here there were two hotplates - one for fried eggs and one for bacon and that was it for a hot choice! we arrived at breakfast at 0845 to be told many cold items and breads had run out too. For an expensive stay I expected much more attention to detail.

Das Hotel ist an zentraler Lage in Dornoch. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig und schön eingerichtet. Reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Das Abendessen war gut, die Örtlichkeit hat nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen entsprochen.

Lovely castle giving some oldy worldly experience. Bar is lovely and closet but not much room to eat in there. Restaurant less atmosphere unless busy but can’t fault staff or the food which was absolutely lovely. Enjoyed our stay and the hospitality given- including the wee dram of whiskey in the room.

We stayed whilst undertaking a tour of the highlands which involved 9 different accommodations and the Dornoch Castle Hotel was the absolute standout favourite of our tour. The room was very comfortable, great location with excellent amenities and the staff very helpful and friendly. Apart from the weather (wet) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again

We stayed in the annex which was passable. Breakfast huge disappointment after travelling around many hotels/ pubs and guesthouses on our highland and islands road trip this was the only place that did not have a breakfast menu - let alone a full cooked breakfast! Two hot plates, one for fried eggs and one for bacon, that was it. We got to breakfast at 08.45 and they had run out of many things! This was our most expensive stay too!
