Dornoch Castle Hotel

Lovely village with lots of free parking. Hotel is comfortable and food is good. Breakfast option was reasonable. Located in middle of village within walking distance of cafe shops etc.

Our first stop on the NC500 Great hotel. Would recommend, Bed comfortable. Very clean. Well equipped. Good choice of food - well presented and tasty. Great range of food at breakfast time

A wonderful experience and a fantastic stay! The Hotel is fabulous and the staff outstanding.

Not quite what we expected. We had booked a dog friendly ground floor room with a garden view. The view was a bit obscured and right next to the fire exit door. The carpet was dirty and stained. The shower head was disgusting, looked like it had never been cleaned. It needed replacing as was Black and grimey. The beds were comfy though. Unfortunately we didnt realise there was a whiskey bar in the hotel so be prepared for other guests stomping around the corridors and slamming doors. The staff were very lovely and welcoming though so this was a positive. Plus the food in the bar was good just very noisy. Parking is bery tight and limited in the car park so you might have to park on the road.

Facilities were very good. I booked dinner and it was very good indeed. It was a buy night, but the staff were very attentive.

Location. Breakfast was good.

Price/quality. Very small room. Had to pass through the restaurant to reach it. Restaurant looked like a cafeteria and chairs were very uncomfortable. Had to wait for more than an hour for the food to arrive.
