"nice location and interior"

10.0

Very classic interior (lobby) to hangout. The rooms were also quite nice with logs running across ceilings - it was more like an artwork to look at!

"Very lovely & well maintained "

8.0

Very attentive staff. Really adorable place that was well maintained and beautifully maintained. It was relatively close to the center square (1block) and there was police all over so I felt very safe. The motorcycle taxi's were prompt too. Great place to visit for a great price! I would come back again.

"Exceeded expectations"

8.0

We stayed here two nights, with a night at Machu Picchu in between. The hotel arranged our transport from Cusco to the Hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The room was large and excecptionally clean. The location is within a 3 minute walk to the main square and a 10 minute walk to the train station. The hotel is charming with a fire place and large reception area where wifi works well. The town is nice with good restaurants at reasonable prices. The train makes this hotel the perfect base to acclimate youself to the altitude for your trip to Machu Picchu. The town itself is worth a visit and when we return we will wish to spend more time at this charming hotel.

"Honeymoon to Machupicchu"

10.0

This hotel, first of all was everything it said it would be! But until you spend time there and get to know the staff it goes above and beyond any expectations!!! Breakfast, hot showers, helpful staff, even lit a fire for us one night. The gardens are peaceful and enchanting. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We were able to store our backpacks, when we came in late the following night the bags were in our room with a beautiful view of the mountains of peru and the gardens. This hotel and it's staff made our trip. Thank you thank you Samanapaq :-)

"Beautiful hotel"

8.0

Wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel. Not a bad idea to bring ear plugs though - in one out of the four nights we heard dogs fighting in the street. Not the fault of the hotel, but something to keep in mind.

"Better than most places in the area. Felt secure."

8.0

I enjoyed the stay. However the WiFi and lobby computer were extremely slow and didn't work 50% of the time. I really like the decoration and the room.

"Hotel Samanapaq in Ollaytaytambo"

10.0

Wonderful stay. The extensive and beautiful hotel grounds, gardens and lawn were peaceful and refreshing. Beautiful buildings, lounges, restaurant, with lots of local pottery. The room was spacious and well designed. The hotel staff were very helpful, particularly in helping us with train tickets reservations. Excellent breakfast included each morning. Would stay again for sure.

"Great hotel in a wonderful town"

10.0

Ollaytantambo is a most wonderful town, maybe the best place to stay in the Sacred Valley. There are restaurants, shops, a market near the historic ruins, a river running through town, stone streets, and very friendly residents.

"Outstanding Property and Value"

8.0

Service was outstanding from beginning to end. Property was beautiful and common areas were spacious and inviting. We wished we had stayed here another night rather that seeing Machu Picchu out of Agues Caliente. Very convenient to town.
