Comfort and pleasant staff

Breakfast took an hour to deliver to tables The evening meal was the food was poor terrible steak pie and awful gammon and egg that was brought to my colleagues. I was shocked to hear my colleagues complain when I asked if they were enjoying their meal

Lovely pub in a great position . Lovely oak beams , decor and room was great. Good shower, and with bath. Great breakfast.

Small carpark was full but we were late due to 4 hrs journey. Got a space later. Not a massive issue except we had tools and equipment in the car.

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Clean, lots of hot water and good pressure.

Not enough space in car park, had to wait for someone to leave. Room small, only 10m2. quite noisy. English breakfast disappointing, asked for it to be well cooked (as not buffet) Sausages and bacon anaemic looking. Baked beans tasteless (must be budget brand) Would not order same again. Bath would not drain as plug mechanism broken and had to prise plug stopper up with finger nails. £125 for room only seemed overpriced, and breakfast not included. No heating working in bedroom.

Car park is small, ended up using the public free car park down the road

We have stayed at The Swan a few times over the years. Always a warm welcome from the staff. Very convenient for where we need to be. Great to be able to take our dog with us and is also welcomed.

As we have been to The Swan a few times, there is nothing that we don't like hence the return visits!
