The Motor Lodge

The experience was fantastic. The room was well thought out with a comfortable bed, modern shower, cute minifridge, dim lighting possibilities and best of all no shared walls with other rooms. The room design was fun. The parking was easy and the check in was great. I normally stay at budget options and I got lucky staying here during the week after a holiday weekend. I got a great rate. It was definitely a step above other choices at that price point. Whiskey row is a short 10 minute walk.

In the room I was in, there is a small gap (maybe an inch) in the shade covering the door...it was hard to get complete privacy to walk around.... less dressed. A small fastener to hold the shade against the window would have been useful for more complete privacy.

Loved the room and the esthetics.

There aren’t many modern hotels in Prescott itself. but this one looked like it was worth a try. I don’t think I would stay there again though. First, the bathroom. My husband’s broad shoulders couldn’t fit through the door and he constantly was hit by the door. The bath room was TINY too and as my husband said “I’d have to leave the room to change my mind.” Another weird thing was that there was a “kitchen.” That meant an oven/stove and sink. But no fridge, no microwave, no dishes, no utensils. I can’t imagine what use it could have been. The space would have been much better to have been added to the bathroom area. The a/c blew right on us, disrupting our sleep. The bed was comfortable, wifi was good, Keurig coffee was welcome, as was the carport. (Not all units have those.)

A gem! Great bed, good sized room, lose to downtown, free parking in front of the room, coffee and milk, a refrigerator and quiet.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here in October 2025 but we experienced better in our 3 week road trip. The style is great but there are compromises in the design of our room and although it was comfortable and clean it looked a little tired in places. We enjoyed the pleasant walk into town, and sitting out front of the room was also a nice place to enjoy a beer.

The room was well appointed, comfortable and very clean. Everything on the grounds was well kept and the Motel was within walking distance to the downtown area.

There were only 6 tissues in the box provided in the room and only 1 roll of toilet paper. Since nobody was in the office to assist us, we found the storage room open and helped ourselves to another roll. Other than that, everything was great!

Quaint with ‘50’s Roadside theme. Suuuuper clean & quiet. Full kitchen! Retro -Furnished Front decks!

The room was great! Shower was amazing. The bed was so comfortable, a very high end mattress. Clean, nicely decorated. Easy check-in. The young woman at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!
