Hotel Kokoro Mineral Hot Springs

The staff was very welcoming and accomodating. Peggy Tam the manager was very friendly, cordial and service oriented. The same can be said about her staff. Truly a pleasure to deal with all. BTW, the grounds are beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kokoro - great view of the volcano and there was a hot spring too although not sure why on second day the water was very low and stagnant. Breakfast was good. Restaurant was only open for reservations so you need to plan ahead. The surprise.of our stay - there was a sloth in the trees by the pool!

Amazing hot springs , beautiful property , very relaxing , friendly staff

Property is beautiful and lush but rustic and a bit run down in the rooms. Our room’s shower leaked profusely water all over floor, cracked tiles, bugs everywhere. There was only 2 outlets that could support a phone charger and laptop. Overpriced for the condition. But grounds were pretty and lush.

Great hot springs, grounds are great with birds and sloths

What a hidden gem! Quintessential rustic cabins tucked in the forest. Excellent location - quiet & secluded, but not too far from La Fortuna. The staff were super helpful & friendly, and the atmosphere was great. If you’re looking for something a little off the beaten path and full of hospitality - this is it!

Absolutely amazing, we didn’t want to leave, great location, and the best worker’s especially the front reception, they were so great with advice and booking tours! The massage area is like out of a movie, listening to the rain and wildlife! The restaurant staff and food was great! It’s a smaller resort which we loved, the grounds are gorgeous and full of wildlife!

The room was spacious. Great bathroom. Refrigerator. And we loved the grounds, hot tubs, pool, pavilion for dining and seeing the animals, birds, frogs. Everyone was so friendly.

The birds and animals are outstanding

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed it. We had a great view of Arenal from our little patio and the property had a nice little walk with some wildlife and we enjoyed that. The mineral waters were also very enjoyable, it’s not running water but soaking in the pool after a day of hiking was so relaxing. The surrounding of the mineral waters are lovely. I also enjoyed the massage I got on side the masseuse was very pleasant and very good.
