Hotel Kokoro Mineral Hot Springs

Beautiful property, pure bliss here!

What a treat - Morning views of Arenal Volcano, small hike through the forest, sloths on property and hot springs. The staff were so friendly and available for all of our questions! The cabin was perfect for our stay and we spent more time on this property than we had during the rest of our stay in Costa Rica.

Terrible experience. From ants of all sizes on the bathroom counter . To dead critters in the shower . Then a surprise bug crawling . The side of the bed frame was questionable. I am not sure if it’s is from mold or dust . Would not recommend .

The property was really beautiful, we saw so many beautiful birds and other animals. The staff was very pleasant and the food at the restaurant was good!

Amazing hotel. Hot springs were lovely. Hotel staff were very friendly. Near the yoga area there is a frog pond that comes to life in the evening. A huge hit with the kids. Hotel staff also pointed out sloths and different birds. Morning buffet was delicious. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We would stay here again for sure!

Our stay at Koroko was PHENOMENAL! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. At check in it was my partners birthday which was the reason for our travel the receptionist noticed. We dropped off our things and went to explore Fortuna, when made it back to our room the receptionist was so kind to leave a small birthday gift for him. That is not the reason for such a high rating. The view of the volcano from our room was breathtaking, the complementary breakfast was very fresh and delicious, the amenities were much better than 3 other resorts we visited during our stay and the cabin we stayed in was great. The only complaint was that our room could have had some minor repairs. I'm petrified of anything creepy crawly and due to the lack of repairs on the bottom of the doors or even the roof they were able to invade my space which made me feel uneasy and sleep comfortably. Besides that, we would 100% return if given the chance, the price we paid was perfect, the location was safe, and you can see the grounds at the resort are carefully managed all day everyday. I would highly recommend this location for your stay simply for the food, views and amenities.
