CERVO Mountain Resort

We went to the Lebanese restaurant - the service was slow, drinks took 20 minutes to arrive and we were advised we had come at a busy time..... we had booked for that time and surely that is restaurant's issue to manage? Pre dinner drinks had to taken at same time as first course (and drinks had been sat waiting on the bar to be served as ice cubes had melted) Food was not great and served on cracked plates - said to be in the style of the cuisine but actually likely to be harbouring bacteria. We would have left except that CERVO require a hefty deposit when you book. I wrote a very polite letter afterwards highlighting my concerns - manager replied all had been noted but made no effort to compensate us for a rather expensive and unsatisfying evening. Avoid there are far better places in Zermatt.

Since we discovered Cervo Resort thanks to some friends two years ago, our experience in Zermatt has been truly transformative. I celebrated my 50th birthday at this magnificent place, and since then, we have returned for the third consecutive year, with the firm hope that this tradition will continue for many more years. Cervo Resort has not only provided us with a luxurious retreat but has also created a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes us feel at home. Zermatt, with its stunning landscapes and the majesty of the Matterhorn, has had a positive impact on our lives and remains our favorite destination to disconnect and recharge. We are eager to return next year and hope that this wonderful experience continues to enrich our lives in the years to come. Cervo Resort and Zermatt will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Let me make this easy for you to book this place : Cervo might be the single most important reason why we are not yet buying our place in the alps yet, mainly because staying at Cervo is so convenient. Ski in-out Super comfy Super friendly staff Great amenities Super cool hot pool Great taste of the owner, it feels 'high end' without feeling pompous This was our second time going to Cervo, and we thought it was even better. Shoutout to the staff to helping us out whilst my wife unfortunately got injured skiing, they have shown that during good, or bad days, they are there for their guests. We will 100% come back next year when she is back on her feet!

There was no hala restaurants

Breakfast is excellent, so it the location for skiing. Staff are very attentive and the hotel is clean.

The Spa was not fully working which was a key reason for selecting this hotel as the outside pool was out of service. Rooms are too dark and the lighting is insufficient to pack a suitcase. It's trendy but a little too much style over substance. The indoor bar area lacks seating for hotel guests unless you want to sit on the floor.
