1864 The Sea Captain's House

We absolutely loved the location and beautiful views. Just steps away from shops and restaurants. We had a delicious breakfast on the veranda too that was included in our package. The owners/staff were so kind and very attentive. We will definitely be back!

Apart from the location, the property is unique, and the entire staff are superb! Plus, they provide a phenomenal spread for breakfast that will help you kick-off your day in style. Highly recommended.

Fabulous location in the heart of Oia and an amazing terrace with views to die where we got to enjoy breakfast every morning. The suite was super clean and the cave like space was chic and comfortable. Perfect for a family to stay and enjoy Santorini. Highly recommend!

WAY OVERPRICED. I can’t believe I booked this place for this much. Beautiful room, very clean, hosts were great, but for 400+ euros it’s a rip off! There are so many better, cheaper options with more amenities than this at this price point. I must have been drunk when I booked this

Our arrival to Santorini couldn’t have been any smoother. The 1864 Sea Captain House arranged a mini van to pick us up at the airport and also had a bell boy carry our luggage up the cobble path and into our hotel (it was a long way to haul our luggage). Takis, the property manager, was extremely helpful. He helped us organize our activities during our stay and went above and beyond to help us enjoy our days in Santorini. Breakfast was served to us daily in our patio. It was a delight staying here.

Located at prime spot in Oil, our host greet us upon our arrival. Gave us tips on navigating the island, and recommended some good places for food. Great view of the ocean, walkable distance to the main shopping street, highly recommended!

Hotel, scenery, and stay was fabulous! But nothing was better than the wonderful host and hostesses that we’re very welcoming and made the trip most memorable for my family!

We've had a wonderful couple of days at the Sea Captain's House. The house was charming , yet fully modernized to satisfy all of our needs. We've had breakfast served on our private patio overlooking the sea every morning. Takes, the property manager personally greeted us at breakfast inquiring how he could make our stay more enjoyable every day. He arranged transfers and tours lettings enjoy them without getting involved in the logistics. Every person at the House was kind and courteous from the beginning until the last moment, when we were heading to the seaport. WE WILL come back next year for sure!
