Scotia Airport Hotel

This is the worst, dirtiest 'hotel' I have ever seen. The carpet was worn and badly stained. The curtains were paper thin and badly stained. Loads of dirt and dust on the skirting boards. The runner on the bed was worn and had lots of fluff sticking to it. Masking tape used to cover an incomplete installation of shower tray. Shower drain has never been cleaned! Toilet seat the flimsiest plastic I've ever seen. The radiators took over 2 hours to get to a decent temperature after they came on, and did not stay on overnight, despite it being quite cold. They were also stained and filthy with dust.

Awful, the facilities were excellent but was ruined by 3 boys in the floor above acting like they were ringo star and his band till 5 in the morning shouting and screaming over and over until they were eventually removed. I have no idea how they never lost their voice or even calmed down. It topped it all off at 3:30 when I was looking out the window to see what room they were in and a leather chair came flying out the window to the shouts of shortroods boys here we go. Was up working at 7 in the morning !!!

This hotel is located in a very good area for business I needed to attend... Omg never again its absolutely filthy sheet on the bed had hair and someone eyelashes, walls were filthy, sink rusty, when asked for a cleaner room was told we are booked up, was told the dirt was wear and tear, if you want a good night's sleep don't stay here, pay a bit extra for the comfort

Not a good hotel to deal with,i travel alot bit wont be dealing with them again

It's like a cheap half way house had no sleep

It is a travesty that this place can even call itself a hotel. I would not even board my dog here. Didn't even stay here. After waiting more than 5 minutes to get in, took one look at the reception and guy running the place, about turned and walked out.

This was my second one night stay at this hotel as visiting my son at college. Having had a good experience the previous visit this is why I booked again. The night before I read up all the really bad reviews and if I’m honest they took me by surprise. I again had a huge triple room. It was very clean with lovely comfy beds and nicely decorated. Tea and coffee and a big telly. Bathroom was very clean and it was very quiet and I felt very safe. The lady at reception was very friendly and although there was no breakfast (not sure why) I didn’t question it as Weatherspoons is 10 mins walk away and you can get a good cheap breakfast there. The only downside I can see is it’s not the best area but I dont drive and if you were coming by car or cab there is no probs. This hotel is underrated and for 30 pounds for a night it’s great value for a stop over. I will be booking again. 👍

Stayed here for four nights. On arrival the receptionist tried to fob me with the Hotel Air as happened to someone else , despite having made a booking for this location. Theres no breakfast facilities available. The local council book rooms here as a homeless shelter , and had a fracas late one evening with 2-3 people and the local Police in attendance.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel . Staff and service seem very good. Polite and friendly and easy to find .Location is also handy and local to many amenities . This is my first time but will not be my last .
